31. Open up the intricate orb and get the brass handle and orb with a socket.
32. Examine the brass handle and slide up the little piece with an arrow on it.
33. Go back to the gear panel and insert the brass handle in the slot where you took the triangular gear from. Set the other gears up like in the photo below and turn the crank handle. A mechanical solar system (orrery) will rise up.
34. Place the orb with the socket on the half planet that matches it. Press the button at the the top to get a glowing symbol on the map.
35. Zoom in on the Earth model and rotate all the pieces to match the real Earth. Then, matches the metal circle with the circle on the planet(?) right next to it. A little metal casting will pop out. Take it.
36. The metal casting is the clue for the little house on the map. Use your eyepiece to see it, then match the door to the casting. (Sorry, I didn’t get a screenshot of the symbol on the door.) Insert the metal casting and then use your lens to go inside.
37. Go to the pedestal and spin the orb to open it and get a hexagonal stone carving. The solar system in middle of the room will crash down, breaking the floor apart.
38. Leave the room and go back to the orrery. Move the sliders on the planet closest to the sun and press the button. The third symbol will light up by the map and a little door will open. Take the lens cover.
39. Head back inside to the room that’s almost identical to the room inside the map. The floor is in pieces!
40. Go to the pedestal and insert the stone carving in the slot. Spin it so it opens up, then press the button. Now you have a puzzle with little pieces that match those on the floor. You need to move them around so the pattern matches exactly. You can watch the video below if you need help. The door will open, but the object behind it needs power.
41. Go back to the telescope and place the lens cover over the lens. Set the star and moon wheels to the symbols you saw on the map. Then set the symbol on the lens to the third symbol (male) and rotate the three squares to match up with the three other squares. Now the machine in the other room is powered up.
42. Go back to that room and spin the constellations until you find this symbol. Line it up with the square. To find it, pay attention to the blinking red light. It shows you which direction to turn. After you get the first symbol, go to the machine next to it and trace the shape on the green square. If you get it right, the light will stop blinking. Do this for two more symbols.
43. Now you have to play a bit of a maze game. The top button moves you ahead and the right and left buttons turn you right or left. The idea is to find three zodiac symbols and walk towards them to light them up. When you see a triangular window, I think that’s a clue that you’re near the table at the center of the maze. You need to come up to that table from three different routes (square, circle, triangle). After you light up all three, the glass will shatter and you can take the orb. You can watch the video below if you need help with the maze. You can also use the map on the wall to help you.
44. Go back to the orrery and place the orb where one of the planets is missing. A door wth particles will appear. Use your eyepiece to go inside.
45. This puzzle is similar to the one at the end of Chapter 1 in the elevator. You need to lift up one of the pieces on a spring and rotate the rest of the cylinder with the other hand. You need to do them each separately, matching all the holes so there’s room to pull the lever down.
46. Press the button on the planet and then take the fifth engraved pyramid to complete Chapter 4.
Continue to Chapter 5, The Projector.
Grrr! Started this level with the pyramid from the forge. However, I’m stuck in the conservatory and do not have 360 range, can’t move or focus in on anything. Completely stuck. Help?
Did you try restarting the chapter? Someone else complained about that same bug today.
Yes, I restarted the chapter, and I’m still stuck without full 360 degree view. Do you have any other advice?
You made sure to pinch to zoom out?
I have been stuck here for months. iOS updates, restarted chapter, nothing works.
Try pinching out; it had me stumped as well…
The photos of the telescope wheels here are CORRECT! I’ve been jammed on the observatory for longer than all the rest of the app!! Scroll up on this page & prepare to say, “YIPPEEEEE!!!” (The “star” wheel gets the “double c’s”-one inside the other–the moon wheel gets the “inverted stacked C’s” (about the only way I can explain it.) I LOVE these games but was nearly in tears over this last place. Good luck!!
No lens found, so no third sign on pedestal! Third Time this has happened
I’ve gotten all 3 of the symbols in the maze lit up and find myself at the portal showing the table with the elements as the walk-through depicts. The instructions in the walk-through seem to indicate that each of the symbols has to be found first, lit up, and then go around the maze to approach the table room from 3 different paths which will then activate shattering the glass. Am I reading that correctly? I tried to find a video of the maze trip as mentioned, but didn’t see one “below”. If I’m reading the instructions wrong, then is there a way to manipulate the view of the table so that the elements are lined up properly to cause the glass to shatter? Love these games!!
The maze video should be right above the photos.
I do not have the hexagon wrench from the roof top podium and it is gone from the podium. How do I get IG now I did not follow steps exactly but help!
I am at the place where the third symbol would light up, but the second one did and I canΓÇÖt get the lens. What did I do wrong.
Can someone tell me how to fix that broken coconut on the table behind the telescope? I know it has something g to do with the podium in the courtyard you go inside the metal casing thing with your eyepiece and someway open those bars on those double doors across from the podium inside the room. I just forgot how to open those bars. Can someone help me? I’d like to find the last two pieces to complete the telescope, because THERE ARE two last pieces for the telescope. I am completely frustrated and lost. PLEASE SOMEONE! Help!
