Vignettes

This is a complete walkthrough guide to help you find all the hidden secrets in the iOS and Android game Vignettes. I assume at this point that you’ve found all objects in the game, so I don’t have to tell you how to get to a certain one. If not, try this walkthrough first. I’m also including videos for the secrets. If you need more help than that, feel free to ask in the comments section. Once you have all the secrets, you can then make a phone call. Scroll to the bottom to see how to do that.

Need help with the new spooky content?
Note: In most cases, for each individual secret, you must do all the steps required within a single visit. Meaning, you can’t close the app and come back later to finish it up. You can try it and it might work for some, but if you run into any problems, the best bet is to start back at the first step for that secret.

First Secret: Go to the phone and then to the TV. Mess around with the buttons on the TV until a smaller version of the TV appears on the screen.
Second Secret: Go to the hat and then the hourglass. Make sure the background is purple and the hourglass is pink/yellow. Get the goblet and then the birdcage. Tap the birdcage to break it open. Then go to the fire hydrant (second zone), then the garbage can, to the moon, and finally to the lantern and there should be some moths around it. That’s it!
Third Secret: Find the pot of flowers in the second zone (you can get there from the kitchen pot) and tap them to make the petals fly off. Then find the fan again and turn it on so it blows flower petals.
Fourth Secret: Go to the phone, then bowl, then lamp, then lightbulb. Tap the lightbulb until everything turns an odd shade of fleshy pink. Go back to the lamp while in this color and then then make a black circle to get to the Russian (Matryoshka) doll. Open it until you find a key. Take it. Then go to the solar system model in zone 5 to the locked box and use the key to open it. Flowers will pop out from inside!
Fifth Secret:
Go to the flashlight in the sixth zone and then to the boot to the flask and then the binoculars. Look through the binoculars at the moon and a spaceship will land on it, planting a flag. Then go to the fire hydrant in the second zone to the garbage can, to the moon and there should be a spaceship and some astronauts. Play around with them a bit and you should get the Secret.
Sixth Secret:
Find the solar system model. Zoom in on it and swipe to the right until the mode is yellow and the background is black. Zoom out and turn it into a broken statue. Turn that into a dead rose. Turn that into a microscope. There should be some spider webs on it. Look through and move the scope around to see a magnified spider!
Seventh Secret: First, find the hat. Look at the note tucked in by the flower. It’s a music sheet. Go from the hat to the goblet, to the crown, to the ring, to the knight (horse) and then to the trumpet. Play the trumpet in this sequence, based on the music sheet: Top Bottom Top Middle Top. Then watch what happens! (Note: There’s a bug at the moment that may prevent the trumpet from recognizing the right sequence. If that happens, try rebooting the app and start back at step one here.)
Eighth Secret: This all takes place in the sixth zone. You need to use the map, compass and camera together to take selfies in three different terrains and then add them to your passport. It’s pretty ingenious. To start off, get to the map. Open it and you should see an X in the lower left area. Go to the camera. Point the camera at yourself and tap it to take a selfie. You now have a selfie in the grassy plains.
Next, go to the compass and turn it so it points up to North. Look at the map and you should now be in the mountainous region. Take another selfie with the camera.
Next, use the compass and map to go east one spot to the grassy plains again. Then use the compass and map one last time to go east to the forest. Take another selfie.
Go from the camera to the photo album and add all three photos to it to get the secret and unlock the final locket.
Ninth Secret:
There’s one last secret to find before the final puzzle! It’s new, so I have a separate guide for it here.
Now that you have them all, look at the symbols on each locket and make note of them. Then go to the telephone and press the symbols in that order. Enjoy!
