# The Guides: Section 4 Levels 4-24, 4-25, 4-26 Puzzles Walkthrough Solutions and Epilogue

A new level has been added to the iOS and Android game The Guides by Luke Lisi and Kevin Bradford, along with the release of their new game, The Guides Axiom. Since I got frustrated with the last few levels of the Guides and never finished them, I figured I’d go back and complete levels 4-24, 4-25, and 4-26 and post the answers here.

Walkthrough:

Section 4:

4-24: (Thanks to reader L.Pleng.S for this.) First, find the levels in section 4 with [1], [2], [3], [4] in the hint sidetab, which are levels 7, 19, 22, 23.

Then, find the setting code (the binary ones / left = 0 and right = 1).
So the results are:
[1] – 01010110
[2] – 00101010
[3] – 01001110
[4] – 01010101
(this code is between the lines in the paper and it’s little bit hard to find it)

Next, change these codes using the binary decipher and you’ll get 4 alphabets (3 alphabets and 1 sign, actually).
01010110 – V
00101010 – * (there is also a trick in this part; if you slide to the right page, you’ll see the message Z = ii’42’ and if you use ASCII decipher for 42 it’ll turn into * sign. So it means that you have to change the * into Z)
01001110 – N
01010101 – U

Finally, you have to shift the ‘VZNU’ to get the final answer. In 4-23 it has the message at the top of the paper. It says “A + B = X”. This time you need to turn the A and B into the numbers using 0x decipher and they’re 41 and 42. If you add them up, to 83, and change it back using the same decipher, it will show you the letter ‘S’ and it’s looks like number 5. So now you got the key for shifting. After shifting, VZNU will become QUIP and that’s it!

4-25: These symbols are letters based on 2-14. Follow the lines starting from the one I circled and match each symbol to the ones on 2-14 until you have a letter for each one, spelling out INVENTOR.

4-26:

Go back to all four sections and collect the blinking letters from the hints.

1-13: m
1-19: a
1-22: p
1-24: s

Section 2:

2-12: c
2-13: h
2-17: r
2-18: o
2-20: n
2-23: o
2-25: s

Section 3:

3-1: h
3-6: o
3-8: r
3-9: i
3-10: z
3-17: o
3-21: n

Section 4:

4-5: i
4-6: t
4-12: m
4-14: p
4-18: s
4-20: k
4-21: y
4-25: i

These don’t make a word. But if you shift the letters 4 over, it spells EPILOGUE.

Enter them all in and you can see the epilogue.

And then you get some code. Mine says: nHY#XrWx

I haven’t figured out what it does yet. It might be related to The Guides Axiom?
