Chapter 10: Observatory: In which, at journey’s end, what was not meant for us is all returned.

You can also watch my video walkthrough for Chapter 10 here:

This chapter is a bit trickier than the others. With this cube, you rotate the whole thing by touching the dotted parts at the top, and you rotate the colored pillars by spinning the bottom of the cube.

You need to get Ida to the open doorway. First, have her stand on the blue piece near her. Then rotate it so she can walk sideways.

Have her walk to the next blue piece. Then rotate it so she can walk along the side of the part where the crow is sitting.

Now she’s on the pink piece. Rotate it so she can walk up/down/whatever the stairs and through the doorway.

I found that the orange building instructions were very hard to follow. I spent at least 30 minuets trying to figure out what they meant by ‘keep rotating until you reach the button” please improve on these instructions.
Many thanks and best wishes on trying to do another set of instructions

      Hi,
Thanks for the feedback! Are the photos not helping? I meant rotate the whole orange thing while walking around to get to the button.

I’m sorry to bother you but it’s just that the photos are a little complicated to understand but never mind!

This was very useful! I would also say that the orange structure needed improving as it was rather difficult to understand. Other than the slight glitch with the second page and the fact that the seventh kept crashing and took at lest a minute to load, I think this website is extremely useful!
    Many thanks,

This set of hints was really only needed for any points you got stuck on, I made it through 99% of the game, and only needed a minor hint to get through.

I am STUCK – in the observatory and walking Ida around and rotating both the pink and red bits – I have two lights on! my game structure looks like the one at the top of this page
    GREAT game though

Firstly, thank you so much for your hard work in putting the Walkthrough together. I found it tone incredibly useful in some very complicated areas. Absolutely 5 stars-except-do you have or know of any walkthroughs for the two sequels?
I don’t know how I’ll get my answer but feel free to send them to my email.
    Thanks again!!!

I found this game entertaining and relaxing. The graphics were beautiful which I’m sure contributed to the relaxing quality. The best game I have played in a long time. I wish there was so much more because I am addicted. Thank you.

Could you have made the photos any smaller? Completely worthless.

  10. Mia
