Paladins are one of the beginning classes that can be found in the Academy. They are warriors that use divine magic. They require Charisma, Strength, and Endurance. You can see the Paladin skills tree here.

Knight:

Knights are one of the beginning classes that can be found in the Academy. They are masters of melee combat. They require Strength and Endurance. See the Knight skills tree here.

Wizard:

Wizards are one of the beginning classes that can be found in the Academy. They are masters of elemental magic. They require Skill and Intelligence. See the Wizard skills tree here.

Rogue:

Rogues are one of huge beginning classes that can be found in the Academy. They are sneaky and require Dexterity and Skill. You can see the Rogue skills tree here.

Bard:

Bards are one of the beginning classes. You can find the bard in the tavern and learn skills from him. Bards need Charisma, Intelligence, and a bit of Dexterity. See the Bard skills tree here.

Witch:

The Witch can be found early on in the game, as early as level 2. If you talk to a drunk guy in the tavern, he’ll tell you where to look for her. She’s at the Gloomy Path. Don’t fight her, though! Offer to be her apprentice and she’ll ask you to find her book in Eston. Go to the Academy in Downtown Eston and ask the student at the door about it. Then head to the map and the Dungeon in the same location. Find the treasure chest with the book in it. Don’t open the witch’s book if you want her to train you! Take it back to her and she’ll train you. See more detailed instructions for unlocking the Witch and her skills tree here.

Ninja:

You meet the Ninja in a random encounter called “???” after level 3 and visiting the castle. You need to step in and try to save her if you want her to teach you her skills. Also, make sure you ask her for her name (Eliza). Then go find the Hideout at Bloodrose Village. Tell the Ninjas guarding the door that you saved Eliza and they’ll let you in to talk to her. Ninjas need Skill, Strength and Dexterity. See more detailed instructions for unlocking the Ninja and her skills tree here.

Monk:

You meet the Monk in the Capital City Center tavern. She will only take you on as a student if you unequip your weapons. Do do this, you need to equip a fist weapon, such as gloves. She’ll test your skills by challenging you to a fight. If she’s satisfied with your skills, she’ll agree to train you, but at the Academy. Monk skills require Strength and Dexterity. See the Monk skills tree here.

Barbarian:

To train with the Barbarian, first go to the Capital City Academy and talk to the man to the left. He’ll tell you about the Ox to the east. Then head all the way east to the Mountain Approach Campsite. Talk to the Ox and he’ll tell you to prove yourself by bringing him evidence that you killed the Frost Wyrm in the Den of the Wyrm. Barbarians require Strength and Skill and they can wield Colossal weapons. See full instructions for unlocking the Barbarian and his skills tree here.

Necromancer:

The Necromancer can raise the dead, rip spirits from enemies, and drive them insane. They need Intelligence and Charisma. To meet the Necromancer, first head to the Forbidden Library in the Necromancer’s Keep. Go to the dungeon in the back and find the treasure chest and the skull on the desk. Take the skull. Then go to the Tower at the Mage Academy. You’ll need Intelligence and Charm for Necromancer skills. See more detailed instructions for unlocking the Necromancer and his skills tree here.

Battlemage:

In order to train as a Battlemage, you first need to go to the Capital City Center and find the Royal Guard’s mercenary liaison. Offer to hunt down the Hedge Wizard for a bounty. Then head to the Desert Outpost, Fugitive Hideout. Go all the way to the end and you’ll meet a Battlemage. Battlemages require Intelligence and Strength. See more detailed instructions for unlocking the Battlemage and the skills tree here.

    Cartel? Kill or join?

    1. AppUnwrapper

I’m not 100% sure, but I don’t think it makes much of a difference at this point. I chose to kill him and take Robin Hood’s side.

      1. John

Thanks! Do you have to be a certain level for battle mage quest from royal guard? I am level 7 and when i hit the green check i can get the quest…

        1. John

I meant cannot get the quest.

        2. John

          *cannot

        3. AppUnwrapper

Hmm that’s weird, because the area you meet the Battlemage in is level 7. I don’t remover when I picked up the quest, but it was pretty early on, when I first went to the Capital. What is he telling you? You have to tell him you don’t have any bounties yet, that you want one.

          1. John

            Ok good now thanks!

            1. AppUnwrapper

Just letting you know…I chose to kill Robin Hood in my second game, and I didn’t notice any new quests from it. I don’t think either choice matters at this time.

the battlemage died after i defeat the mobs and never seen him again please help

I think you’re out of luck. Might have to start a new character if you want his skills. :(. In the future, though, if something like that happens, kill the app. The game only saves when you’re on the world map, so it would be like that never happened and you can do it over.

    Hi !
“If you learn every skill in the game and then start New Game+, you start back at level 1 with no stats, but you keep all your skills!”

What does it mean ? We have to learn every skills with one character or it can be with multiple ?
And by New Game+ you mean a new game or a new button appear when you unlock all skills ?

Thx for information, your posts are very helpful 🙂

    1. AppUnwrapper

You don’t *have* to learn all the skills with one character. But you can. And if that character has beaten the final boss, that game save will have the option to start a New Game+, where you’re back to level 1, starting a new game but you keep all the skills you picked up. So, ideally, you’d wait until you have all the skills. But this game is so great with the duplicating, that you could just create a duplicate and then have the second one as NG+, while still keeping the original. 🙂

      1. Pier2a

Thank you for the explanation 😀

I’m gonna rush the bard’s skill “Generalist” then 🙂

  4. Ninja23221

I accidentally killed the shop keeper in crazy mode in the better shop and now I’m totally screwed. Is there a way to get him back? Maybe make a restore all npc button in the settings but please help.

    1. AppUnwrapper

Are you still in the town or you already left to the map since killing him? If you’re still in town, you can close the app and it won’t save it.

  5. keliana matti

I accidentally killed all the trainers and the shop owner.
and i went to the map and it saved. Is there any other way that can bring them back?

  6. Justin Yeo.

I am deadly loving this game….
But I don’t really love to see map and hanging here and there
Thx for the tips and walkthrough
    Thx a lot !!!

  7. Josh

This website has been super helpful thanks. I’m having an issue. I beat the game and try using the “new game+” feature and it doesn’t work. When I click it it shows that I have all the skills but when I go into the game all my skills are at 5 still. Does anyone else have this issue? How does this work?

    1. grandsnowbear

It’s perfectly fine. Neww game + resets your stats and items, but retains the skills that you have acquired previously 🙂

  8. stickfigarmy

I chose to help kill the ninja trainer, she vanished and now that I know that I should have saved her I wanted to know, is there any way to get her skills now?

  9. Kenny

I chose to try to slay Eliza to be with the royal guard out of curiosity. But do they give me a new mission or what?

  10. Doug

All the wizard skills, some necromancer, bard, witch, but after meeting the King (trying not to spoil anything) cannot figure out what to do for lack of defense? Any ideas appreciated. Thanks.

  11. Necromancer

Guys I have gone crazy mode and went to castle to kill guards then the royale chamber and killed guards and killed Stewart with them now I have completed the shard quest and cant finish it quest .i can’t see Stewart or anyone or any NPC (I killed all the NPC in the game ) they all disappeared

  12. Rick

Yo? can’t get the ambush site to spawn. I went through all proper steps, but nuttin. I need battlemage to finish out my lighting god build. Bard/Monk/Knight/Wizzard/Paladin/Ninja/Rogue/Battlemage

    Passive.
    Bard.
Generalist: Reduces the stat requirements for equipping items or learning skills by 30%.
Switch out after skill r learned. I lean to Might from the paladin line.

    Monk.
Concussion: Your critical strikes with blunt weapons have a 50% chance to knock enemies down for 2 seconds.
    Knight.
Grit: Increases weapon damage by 50 percent of your endurance, and reduces the duration of negative status effects by 50 percent. (Passive)
    Ninja.
Impending Doom: Whenever you land a critical hit, your remaining cooldowns are shortened by 1 second.
    Rogue.
Coupe de Grace: Increases your damage against stunned/knocked down enemies by 20%.
    Battlemage.
Twin Disciplines: Your physical attacks have a 10% chance to grant your next magic attack 100% chance to critically strike.

    Active:
    Monk.
Spirit Trance: Enter a state of mental tranquility, increasing your movement speed and granting you health regeneration for 10 sec.
    Paladin.
Aura of Light: For ten seconds, all of your attacks will heal you for 25 percent of the damage dealt.
Wrath: Infuse your weapon with divine wrath for ten seconds, causing your auto-attacks to deal additional damage, and chain holy lightning to nearby targets
Holy Word: Utter a word of prayer to heal your wounds.
    Ninja.
Smoke Bomb. Creates a cloud of smoke, making it impossible for enemies to target you with ranged attacks, and increasing your dodge chance 30% while within the cloud.
    Battlemage.
Thundering Weapon: While active, weapon attacks deal lightning damage, are strengthened by your spell power, and randomly stun your foes. Lasts until cancelled.
    Wizzard.
Chain Lighting: Strikes your target with a bolt of lightning, which then proceeds to jump to nearby targets if possible, dealing less damage with each jump.
Thunder Bolt: Your body explodes with an electric shock wave, dealing damage to nearby enemies and knocking them down briefly.

How it works: Run in a pop smoke. This reduces dmg by uping dodge and forces all ranged attackers to come in close due to not being able to target u. Then turn on Aura of Light and Wrath. After that ends most will be dead. Continue if off cd due to Impending doom. Fire off Chain Lighting and Thunderbolt as you see fit. If you get into a “o shit” situation use Spirit trance + Holy Word and Smoke Bomb. Just kep auto attacking, criting and keeping ppl knocked down. As far as euipment go with the strongest armor u can find and the strongest fist weapons. Why fist weapons? Fastest weapons in the game. More hits = more crits = less cooldown. Trinkets use atack speed and cool down reduction (overall not instant). Stats? Just stat out for needed values for skill learns. Bard helps with this, but u can do it with out bard. After all is said and done with stats drop the rest into skill for criting.

  13. Rick

typos sry. I had it in a nice outline, but for some reason it got all messed up.

  14. mac

Why is that when i play ambush site where you gonna help the battlemage, and when the conversation starts, it always blacked out.i mean is totally black.and everytime i restarts.its always the same hapoens

    1. AppUnwrapper

That sounds like a bug. Never heard of that happening, but you might want to contact the developer.

  15. John

“Easier” Way to Obtain Barbarian Trainer (If you don’t want to fight the Frost Wyrm): To prove your strength to the barbarian trainer, you CAN fight him. Switch to casual mode, then keep attacking him until he tells you that he accepts you as his student.

  16. Scott

Having trouble with the Royal Meeting. I keep dying. What am I doing wrong?

  17. Nunu Pamungkas

Loving this game. I’ve been playing the original Battleheart from like, a couple months ago. And I was shocked to see that there’s a 3D version of the game, which ultimately is also a sequel.

What I’m happy about is the fact that the difficulty hasn’t changed from the original Battleheart. I’m a bit underleveled, so I went on Casual Mode against the final boss. Still dead. Went on to try the Colosseum on Casual, to see what am I fighting. Still dead. Battleheart and Battleheart Legacy is practically the Dark Souls of mobile. Difficulty doesn’t change, even if you lower it. Sure, it’s easier. But when you’re overwhelmed, that Casual Mode will mean nothing.

What’s a good way to get a lot of money? I see your thousands but mine has never been over 2 thousand

  19. Harry

I really need some money. My pockets are always low. What’s a good way to get a lot of money in early game? Also, could you have builds for the classes on their pages? These would help a lot, thx.

    1. Harry

(Don’t reply to this comment plz)

  20. Harry

App. I have 2 things to ask. One: I seem to always be low on money, what’s a good place early game to get a lot of money? Two: Can you put up builds for each of the classes on their page? Mavye even different builds for doing different stuff, one for coliseum, one for grinding, etc. thx
