Humbug: Walkthrough Guide and Solutions

By: Dunderbit

Humbug is a stylish new puzzle game from Dunderbit, in which you move insects around the board to land on the star tiles. Each creature has a different movement pattern, so you need to use them with each other to solve each puzzle in the minimum number of moves. This walkthrough guide will help you if you get stuck. Feel free to ask for extra help in the comments section.

See my Humbug review.

Snail: Moves only one tile over.

Spider: Keeps moving in the direction you send it until it hits an obstacle.

Grasshopper: Jumps up over to the next tile. If there’s a wall in the way, it can jump over it. If there are other creatures in the way, it will jump over them, too.

Ladybug: Moves exactly three tiles over unless it hits an obstacle.

Bee: Flies two tiles over. If there’s another creature where it should land, it continues until it reaches an empty tile.

Butterfly: Flies three tiles over. If there’s another creature where it should land, it continues until it reaches an empty tile.
