Chapter 21, Puzzle 11, The Furnace:

This is a Mastermind puzzle. If you’ve never played it, the idea is that you need to guess the five symbols. You have a limited number of tries. Each time you choose five symbols and pull the level, the green lights at the top will light up if you got any right. A flashing green light means you got a symbol right but a location wrong. A solid green light means you got a symbol and location right. You need five solid green lights to complete the puzzle and turn the furnace on. It’s randomized each time, so if you fail you have to start back at knowing nothing. There’s some luck involved, but there’s also ways to work it out to some success.
