It’s definetly a nice puzzle game, could use more puzzle types IMO and I’m curious about the story as well. I hope more chapters get released.

I’m currently stuck in chapter 4 on the third floor that gets unlocked (it’s the bottom floor via the elevator) and am having trouble with the standing puzzle that’s on the floor since it involves some quick timing which I’m finding hard to do. I’m not sure if it’ll let me control multiple parts at once as it feels like I need to be able to do that.

You mean the laser puzzle, rightΓò¼├┤Γö£├ºΓö¼┬¼? No you canΓò¼├┤Γö£├ºΓö£├╗t. ItΓò¼├┤Γö£├ºΓö£├╗s broken. ItΓò¼├┤Γö£├ºΓö£├╗s completely impossible, there was an update this morning (19/10) but all that did was fix a minor bug with AR. The laser puzzles are impossible (at least I assume thereΓò¼├┤Γö£├ºΓö£├╗s going to be more than one, and I will assume they all employ the same mechanics) because itΓò¼├┤Γö£├ºΓö£├╗s impossible to control the swing of the laser precisely. I emailed Antler and they told me I was wrong, that it was perfectly possible, their response to me telling them that IΓò¼├┤Γö£├ºΓö£├╗m having a bad experience playing their game is to basically tell me that IΓò¼├┤Γö£├ºΓö£├╗m the problem, not the game (funny how there are multiple reviews on the App Store all sayImg exactly the same thing – I guess weΓò¼├┤Γö£├ºΓö£├╗re all the problem, ehΓò¼├┤Γö£├ºΓö¼┬¼?).

No, Antler, your game is the problem. I have deleted it until such time as you realise this and fix it.

I verify that Chapter 1 does contain a letter in the AR section. It’s the reward for solving the puzzle. On my Samsung Android devices, I get the message “AR failed to initialize”, which suits me, and I can play the puzzle without a problem. The four drum-like pieces should continue to show you a symbol as you rotate them. I couldn’t tell if your screen was also failing to show you some clues or not. I tried to capture a screen shot of the letter when revealed, but my attempt failed (I have no added tools for recording/capture). I can email you a screenshot of the letter opened from within the inventory, if you want; just email me. My opinion is that a collectible should not be placed in a section the developer lavels as “Optional”; that’s a bonus or optional collectible.

Yeah, I honestly despise AR being used this way (itΓÇÖs fine for bonus optional stuff like how GNOG and Euclidean Skies do it). I almost didnΓÇÖt even bother but I figured IΓÇÖd last give it a chance first, especially if one of the letters are in there.
I wish devs would stop using AR as a gimmick. It makes no sense to use it this way. Why would I want to get off the comfort of my couch and start fiddling with things to make it work? ItΓÇÖs kinda turned me off from the rest of the game.

In response to my initial review on Google Play, the developer wrote that the AR will be removed from this game, but gave me a courteous brush off regarding the problems most of us have with laser alignment, particularly rotation. Because my device “cannot initialize AR”, I was able to proceed without it the first time it was offered. My complaint to the developer was about putting a collectible and storyline in AR, then calling it Optional. I will play a bit farther than Chapter 2 soon, but I anticipate editing my review on Google Play lower unless the puzzle mechanics become easier to manipulate.
I feel the game has some charm but it is still beta.

Yeah, I saw they made that change, but I honestly canΓÇÖt cover a game thatΓÇÖs, like you said, still in beta. I gave it a second chance after the game was fixed from its initial broken state, but I canΓÇÖt restart every every week because they change things on a whim.
