Bad North: Jotunn Edition is a real-time strategy game by Plausible Concept and Raw Fury. It’s a ton of fun, but can be challenging, especially while you’re first starting out. So this walkthrough guide should help you if you’re having trouble. Feel free to ask for extra help in the comments section.
Tips & Tricks:
– If you want a less stressful experience, enable restarts when you create a new game. It’s still challenging, but one bad battle won’t end your game. It’s great for getting acclimated to the mechanics, and you can later start a new game without restarts if you want to challenge yourself more.
– Some items and traits can be unlocked as starting items and traits for a new game. That’s one of the things that makes this a roguelite instead of a roguelike. When items have a white border or trait flags have a white background, that means you can now select them when you start a new game.
– Pay attention to the dotted lines. Those show what will get grayed out on your next turn. If there are any islands you haven’t taken at that point, you’ll lose them for good.
