Adventure Escape Mysteries – Puzzle Pack: Complete Walkthrough Guide

Adventure Escape Mysteries – Puzzle Pack
By: Haiku Games

Haiku Games is back with a new Adventure Escape game, this time a Puzzle Pack featuring characters from all their previous games. You play as Samantha Winthorp, from The Covenant, who meets Detective Kate Gray, Professor Burns, Captain Conroy Kettlebottom, and Princess Nimue, who train her to be an expert puzzle solver. If you get stuck, this walkthrough guide should help you. Feel free to ask for extra help in the comments section.

NOTE: It looks like all the puzzles are randomized as far as which chapter they’re in, so I’m just going to show you how to solve all the puzzles. I’ll still include videos for all chapters.

Walkthrough:

You can watch my videos for each chapter or continue below for my solutions for each puzzle.

Chapter 1:

Chapter 2:

Chapter 3:

Chapter 4:

Chapter 5:

Chapter 6:

Version 1: Tap the magnets in this order: Up, Right, Down, Right, Up, Right, Down, Left, Up

Version 2: Tap the magnets in this order: Up, Left, Down, Right, Up, Left, Up, Left, Down, Right, Up, Left, Down, Right, Down, Left, Up.

Version 3: Tap the magnets in this order: Up, Left, Up, Left, Up, Right, Down, Left, Down, Right, Down, Right, Up, Left, Down, Right, Down, Left.

Version 1:

Version 2:

Version 3:

Untie Knot: This one is a little annoying, but basically just move all the buttons around so there are no knots. When a rope turns brown, it means it’s clear.

Version 2:

Version 3:

Laser Rings: For this puzzle, you need to rotate the rings so the lasers hit all the gems on the outer ring.

Version 1:

Version 2:

Version 3:

Venom Extraction: This one is annoying. You need to make a path for each of the ladders that touches all the same-colored orbs and then hits the receptor, without any of the colors crossing paths.

Version 1:

Version 2:

Version 3:

Push Stones: For this puzzle, you need to push all the red stones into the water.

Version 1:

Version 2:

Version 3:

Triangle Laser: This is a laser reflection puzzle. Just use the mirrors to direct the colored lasers to their receptors.

Version 1:

Version 2:

And that’s everything!

Puzzles seem to be randomised. There doesn’t seem there is a single solution for each individual playthrough.

  2. Rebecca Powell

The puzzles that came up on mine werenΓÇÖt the same puzzles all out must be different for everyone

  3. Jennacide

I apparently have version 3? I canΓÇÖt figure out the solution to my magnet puzzle

    1. AppUnwrapper

ItΓÇÖs probably in chapter 6 for me. I should get to it tomorrow but going to bed now.

      1. Jennacide

I will keep an eye out. Thank you. Sleep well 🖤🖤

  4. Beth

Odd. I was doing Conroy’s puzzle but I didn’t get either of the layouts I got a different one.

      1. Joshua

I have a entirely different one

      2. biskutkookie

Hey, I can’t watch your video seems has been removed or broke. I can’t solve Conroy’s puzzle too 🙁

      3. Shelly

My chapter 6 puzzle for the guards is totally different than these, I can’t get past it to save my life, please help

      4. Mark

I seem to have a completely different puzzle to the ones you have up for conroy any idea?

  5. Fridky

My glass puzzle is unsolvable, as no pieces fits on the top of the purple glass piece.

    1. Lea

Did you figure this out IΓÇÖm having the same issue

    2. .

Did you remember to rotate? Also, doesn’t it match one of the versions above?

  6. Rae

I clicked for the covenant walkthrough and it brought me here………..

    1. AppUnwrapper

Not sure what happened there but should be fixed now.

      1. Rae

        It’s still bringing me here

      2. Rae

        It’s working now, thanks

  7. jay

chapter 7 puzzle with the tentacles is unsolvable for me. I have tried for hours and cant even come close

  8. Veggienae

FYI: For the annoying Venom Extraction puzzles, the light paths themselves can cross. However, the paths may not touch the buttons or home base of another color. It makes them slightly less annoying. I tried to upload the screenshot, but it didnΓÇÖt work.

  9. Gamer

I find that when Conroy is trying to save Beatrice by hiding in the crates he doesn’t move fast enough. You tap tap tap on the arrows and he doesn’t move as fast as the guards are. This makes this puzzle very hard to solve and unfair.

    1. Andrea Ævarsdóttir

Same here, when i try to move after the guards see me, nothing happens (April 2021)

    2. CharFaye_3

Ok, so for those puzzles I figured out that after the pirates see Conroy, they move 2 steps for every one step he takes, and seem to ‘halt’ until he makes another move. So figuring that out helped me to solve them a little easier (still took like 50 captures before i found the right path lol)(and that’s also with me, might not be the same with everyone)4/23/21

    3. CoolPerson

      It’s turn based.

  10. Kettt

The dragon puzzle is different from the walkthrough.

  11. Anna

    I just love you girl
thanks for your hard work 🫂❤️

  12. loki

may be there is a bug (at least one pair of the tails of the symbols cascaded), I occasionally completed burning house ver.1 with one symbol unused

  13. Rick

Here is a new one that I didn’t manage to solve.

  14. Betty

Chapter 4 of my book I am on the fire and houses puzzle and I do not see a solution for the one I have compared to the 4 you have.

  15. Mike

I see ver. 2 of the buring house breaks the rules of fire overlapping, is that a bug?

  16. Kate Nongray

    1) Thank you so much for all your hard work with these walkthroughs!

    2) I put together a list of the tips the All-Stars give Sam for the Covenant game, for anyone else who was looking for that (and didn’t take notes the first time through Puzzle Pack, like me…) I have no idea what’s relevant to the Covenant, so I just jotted down everything that looked like actual advice, even the very vague stuff from early on.

    Ch2:

Conroy: Compliment thy crew in public, Sam, and criticize in private, if ever.

Nimue: You may want to deal with [your hatred of spiders/venomous things] before the trip tonight.
Sam: My friend Turner’s bringing bug spray. I’ll borrow his.

Kate: Fear comes from the unknown. Figure out what’s frightening you.

    Ch3:

Kate: Do you shoot, Sam? […] And you’ve had safety training?
Sam: “There’s no such thing as an unloaded gun.”
Kate: Right. Always check it yourself.
    [after the puzzle]
Kate: You can’t rely on bullets going through people that cleanly.

Burns says they should have included a sailing puzzle, Nimue says it’s too late to change the books.

    Ch4:

Conroy: Psst — Sam. One of thy classmates knows more than they let on. They’ve been conspiring to lure you to the forest.

Conroy: I advise you to talk to your classmates whenever you can. Listen to all they say. Each has secrets.

Conroy: Another bit o’ advice: If a friend belabors ye about their problems, keep questioning them. Get down two or three layers to the truth.

Nimue: I tried companions. In my opinion, it’s best to stick with one, the same one, throughout your adventure. And even then, there is often betrayal at the end.

Conroy: Psst. It can’t eat dead flesh.

    Ch5:

When Sam says she’s tired, Conroy asks if Joanne is still an option to train instead, and Kate says no.

Sam: Why did you ask me about my parents?
Nimue: Your friend Joanne has information about them. Stick with her to the end.

Nimue: Venom, in small doses, is a useful ingredient. […] Sometimes, deadly items can be used for good.

Conroy: Do ye know a formidable old woman by the name of Prudence Grant?
Sam: Sure, she ran Grantstown. She lived in a mansion out by the forest. She died this year. Mark’s her grandson. We’re going to his property tonight to see the eclipse.
Conroy: If ye want to know more of Prudence, keep talking to either Kelly or Joanne.
Nimue: If you want to know about your town, talk to the cute one, Nicky.

Sam: Can I ask you about my other friends? Kelly and Turner? Are they, y’know, together?
Kate: Team, is that telling her too much?
Conroy: She won’t remember, anyway. Let her live life to the fullest!
Kate: They’re not together. They’re just in a band. Turner likes you.
Nimue: Seychelle likes you, too. You just need to be alone with her enough.
Burns: But guard your heart. Everyone has secrets.

Nimue: Note that some solutions aren’t tidy. It’s the same with life.

    Ch6:

Sam: The Grant family rules our town. Mark Grant is the heir to the throne.
Nimue: You would make a far better leader.

Sam: If things get unwinnable, reset.

Conroy: There be a sewer grate in the parking lot, Sam. Remember it.

Conroy: Psst. Sam. There’s firewood in Nicky’s tent.

Nimue: You’ll help Joanne set up her telescope. Soon after, the horrors begin.
Kate: When the…event…occurs, rally your friends. Keep them together.
Conroy: Pick a spot to defend and be resolute.

Nimue: Fire is your friend. Wield it wisely. […] Remember the power of fire. It cleanses and purifies.
Burns: It also kills. Be careful.

Nimue: There is a house to the east. You saw it on the drive. Get there. Lucky Dog will help you.

Kate: There’s no magic in Grantstown!
Nimue: But…there is! The eight magic chains!
Kate: …She’s right! We forgot about the chains!
Sam: (Eight magic chains. Find the chains. Remember the chains.)

—Earlier Nimue had told Sam to always write new spells in her spellbook immediately, and I disregarded it because everyone was telling her magic wasn’t real and also because I figured it would be automatic if it WERE a real mechanic. But just in case, since magic is real.

Burns: Don’t fear death. It’s not the end.

Tried clicking on each of the 6 puzzles, but it took me to a black page on each. Not able to click on hints or anything.
