Chapter 6, Lepat Fishing Company:

You can watch my video for Chapter 6 or continue below for my step-by-step guide.

1. We’re at Lepat Fishing Company. It turns out our suspect isn’t actually Benjamin Lee, but Luca Patel, the co-owner of the company. The trucks are registered to Benjamin Lee but the boats are registered to Luca. Let’s look around. Grab the torn note and enter the boat.

2. Pick up the knife, binoculars and torn note. Also, roll up the rug to see a trap door.

3. Use the knife to cut open the net and then take the hammer and chisel from the tool box.

4. Use the hammer and chisel to open the barrel. Take the key from inside.

5. Use the key to unlock the trap door. Grab the hook and torn note.

6. Place the hook on the end of the pole on the wall to get a logging hook.

7. Leave the boat and use the logging hook to pull the floating barrel in. Use the hammer and chisel to open the barrel and get another torn note. Now the note is complete. Take a closer look at it.

8. First, notice the buoy, the three tires and the S in the company sign. Use the binoculars on the lighthouse to see it up close. There’s another buoy and four trees. Let’s use this information with the note we found. First, organize each item by how many you found. Then, find that item on the note and combine the three parts of a digital number to get one whole number. You end up with this:

1 S = 7
2 Buoys = 4
3 Tires = 9
4 Trees = 8

9. Go back inside the boat and tap on the monitor on the left. Enter 7498 to unlock it. Take the garage remote from the drawer that pops out.

10. Leave the boat. Use the garage remote on the garage door and then take the satellite.

11. Place the satellite on top of the boat.

12. Go back inside the boat. Tap on the screen and press the SCAN button. Now let’s solve the Radar Puzzle. It’s a lot like Minesweeper. The numbers tell you how many green squares surround each one. It should look like the image below in the end. You’ll then get evidence added to your book. It looks like there are some hidden crates that we need to find and search.

13. Leave the boat. Once the boat is gone, grab the crowbar and the ladder.

14. Place the ladder down and use the crowbar to open the window. Head inside.

15. Find the corkscrew, step stool and three journal pages. Also, zoom in on the books on the shelf and grab the key.

16. Use the stool to reach the bottle on the shelf and use the corkscrew to open it and get another journal page. Use the key to unlock the bottom desk drawer. Look at Luca’s journal to add to your evidence book. Add all four journal pages to the journal.

17. Notice the one letter that’s different on each page of the journal.

1 = V
2 = Y
3 = F
4 = C

18. Enter VYFC into the computer. Then read both emails and open the access panel.

19. A wall panel slides open, revealing a hidden safe. Let’s solve the Safe Lock puzzle. Notice the four lights and squares at the top, each one bigger than the next. The clues you need to pay attention to are the four framed paintings of waves. Count the number of each of the items in the room that’s shown in the paintings. Don’t forget the two books! The wave direction tells you whether to turn the dial clockwise or counter-clockwise. So you get:

1. Sun = 2 = counter-clockwise
2. Fish = 3 = clockwise
3. Bottle = 6 = clockwise
4. Leaf = 7 = counterclockwise

20. Take the crane key from inside the safe.

21. Leave the room. Use the key with the crane. Let’s solve the Crane Puzzle! We need to move the other crates out of the way so we can get to the green one. You can use my video if you need help.

22. Look inside the crate. It’s a corpse! And it’s old. Examine it to add the evidence to your notebook.

With the radar puzzle I have 2 dead squares that don’t change when I press them. Originally they all worked, then a couple of attempts later one stopped working. Now I’ve just gone on to try again and two of them don’t change. Has anyone else experienced this?

    1. Kesh

I had one square like that but once I changed the other squares, I just clicked the square until I got a star

    2. Angela

There should be silver boxes around the ones that donΓÇÖt change

    3. Faust

I haven’t experienced dead squares, but I am finding this puzzle very frustrating. I wish these worked with actual minesweeper rules. Including the numbers throws off my logic.

    4. AJ

The two green ones in the middle? I don’t think they’re supposed to change. When I hit them they told me they were fixed.

    5. Iuri

I had 2 squares that didn’t change color either, but they never worked for me. Just left them alone and completed the puzzle.

    6. Mary

yeah, i also had a dead square! I hoped the puzzle would mark as solved even if I left it empty, but alas, I had to skip it in the end.

    7. Emma

      Same here! 🙁

      1. Emma

I don’t have enough stars to skip but I decided to try re-start that level. It works, I can click on those dead squares now. 🙂

    8. Vanessa

Yeah! It happens to me too. I restarted the chapter and everything work now.

  2. Geoff

I did too. I had to restart the level and then it worked.

  3. Brenda

Yes, I had one square that wouldn’t work. I left it til the end, then clicked through it, I could here the clicks but the color wouldn’t change and I ended up solving it.

  4. CJ

Hi appunwrappwr. Thank you for all your work this helps alot.

  5. Laura

I don’t get step 8. I understand counting the #you see, bit how does that relate to numbers? What’s the dashes for on the map under each symbol?

    1. Neysa

Combine those 3 dashes, then you will get a number (in digital form)

  6. amelia

iΓÇÖm confused why is his name luca and benjamin

    1. Jordyn

its not. luca and benjamin are two different people

  7. Melanie

The code for the safe was incorrect for me. I had to include the item shown on the picture, so the code was 3478, not 2367.

  8. Jordyn

yeah it got updated. it counts the actual pictures as well now

  9. Jordyn

yeah it got updated. it counts the actual pictures as well now.

  10. Sarah

With the safe on the wall using the pictures, itΓÇÖs clockwise, counterclockwise, counterclockwise, and clockwise using those numbers

  11. Natasha

Is anyone else having no luck with the safe? I just cannot get it to work, I have tried the numbers in the guide, the numbers here and double checked if I am going clockwise and counter clockwise and it just isn’t working :/

    1. Angela

I can’t get it to work, either. I’ve tried both sets of numbers, in opposite directions for both sets, and no matter what I flippin do, it doesn’t work. If I could just skip it, I would. But I used up all 20 of my stars to reveal the solution, which is supposed to be 3 counter, 4 clockwise, 7 clockwise, 8 counter, but it doesn’t work. So frustrating!!!

  12. Kay

Ok so I’m realizing the code for the safe is the one on here (2 3 6 7) not their hint which showed 3478. They need to fix that error

  13. Christine

I can’t open the safe, tried with the numbers and numbers including the one in the picture, doesn’t work.

  14. Jhon

To open the safe DO NOT READ THE MAILS in the computer where you open the panel, it’s like a bug. If you’ve done that. Then, the solution works, counting the item in the pictures (if not, try not counting them)

  15. .

Hello, appunwrapper, the combination lock puzzle just didn’t work for me no matter jow much I tried it. I finally spent all my stars trying to skip it, and it turned out the password was 3 4 7 8 not 2 3 6 7, beacuse they counted the ones in the paintings. So please can you add that. It was really annoying having to deal with that.

  16. Susan

Love your walkthroughs! Thanks so much❤️

  17. K

These puzzles are absolute rubbish. Your clues are not clues at all. Things don’t add up properly. You look at the books on the shelf and add another fish, but not the book with a sun on it. Who the hell would think the waves tell you which way to dial a lock? It is always right, left, right. Or reverse of that. I have yet to be able to understand the half of these puzzels and solving puzzles it what I do. There is no logic, and its quite unreasonable to have to look up a cheat on every single episode.

  18. Freda Bohman

Chapter 5 at the end the printer did not print out the DNA results

  19. Ricardo813

I only see 5 bottles here not 6?!

  20. Becsplays

Going to have to give up on this story. Safe won’t work no matter what combination I use. And I followed the instructions to a T after using stars to reveal the answer. Ugh. No option to skip.

  21. Chantelle

I got stuck at the safe as well – I restarted the chapter and still had an issue using both sets of numbers above. Eventually I tried it in the opposite direction for each number (using the ones including the pics) and it finally worked! Hope that helps someone!
