Incoherence: Walkthrough Guide

Incoherence
By: Glitch Games

Incoherence is the latest adventure game from Glitch Games, in which you need to make your way through several sets of four rooms that are all interconnected. It can be tricky at times, so this walkthrough should help you if you get stuck. Feel free to ask for extra help in the comments section.

Walkthrough:

Chapter 1:

I have a video here for the first four rooms, but here’s how to get to the next set. What you want is to put the plates in this order — House, School, Castle, Hospital. Then grab the jar from the first room, use it to scoop up some lava from the volcano in the second room, use the jar of lava to see the symbols over the stairs in the third room (make sure the grab the button), and finally, use those symbols to unlock the blue key in the fourth room. Then use that key to unlock the next set of rooms.

Chapter 2:

This is the correct order for Chapter 2 — Arcade, Cinema, Airport, Temple. Pick up the change from the first room, use it to get some gum balls in the second room. Use the gum balls to patch the popcorn cup in room 2 and then fill it up with water from the sink in room 3. Then use the water to get the key in room 4.

Chapter 3:

The plates go in this order — Office, Restaurant, Bar, Alley. Grab the bolt cutters in room 1, then use them in room 2 to get the magnet. Use the magnet in room 3 to get small key. Then use the small key to get the glowing key in room 4.

Chapter 4:

Here, you want to put them in this order — Court, Hotel, Cell, Underpass. Get the tape and crowbar from room 1. Use the crowbar to open the crate in room 2 and get the microphone. Use the microphone and tape with the open cookie jar in room 3. And last, go to room 4 and press the button on the intercom so it hears the voice on the loudspeaker. Grab the glowing key and then use to complete the game.

And that’s everything!

Help!! What am I doing wrong?! The second level has dragons and eggs and I can’t get them to match up correctly… even using the hint. Am I missing something?! Please and thank you

The tokens tell you which direction each dragon should point.

Hi, please help! IΓò¼├┤Γö£├ºΓö£├╗m in the cinema room, have opened the box in the floor – the bit on the right hand side has opened – and think I have picked up a key (though am now doubting myself!) but I donΓò¼├┤Γö£├ºΓö£├╗t seem to have it. The Screen 1 door is still locked and if I photograph the box in the floor, the photo shows no open bit on the right hand side. Am I missing something or has something gone wrong? Thanks.

YouΓÇÖve gotten to a part where you have to do things in a certain order. If you pick up an item but the rooms are out of order and you walk back to the ΓÇ£control roomΓÇ¥ you lose all items youΓÇÖve picked up. So you have have the slides in order for the rooms you walk into to use the items youΓÇÖve collected. Use the hint when you pick up the key to figure out which room is next. I already finished the game so sorry I donΓÇÖt remember the correct order.

Thanks so much for replying. I think my issue is that I can’t get back to change the order but I also can’t go forward because I can’t take the key as I already have it but I can’t use it because it vanished from my inventory! I really don’t want to reset the whole game though!

I still donΓÇÖt at all get the logic of the deer, stop, pots, & puzzle. Can anyone help. I donΓÇÖt really see how the voices go with the arrows at all.

    Choice not voices

ItΓÇÖs basically that the arrows (found in the right sewer grate after you dry up the stagnant water in the left grate with the sweaters) tell you if the words are to be read forward or in reverse. The top arrow is for the top word (from the list on the wall), the 2nd arrow down is for the 2nd word down, etc. So, line up the photos to see how each word is to be read. Deer corresponds to a right arrow, so it is to be read as you would normally read (left to right), giving you d-e-e-r. Stop corresponds to a left arrow, so it needs to be read in reverse order (right to left), making it p-o-t-s, instead of s-t-o-p. So, you highlight the picture of the plant pots for that one, not the stop sign. Ten is another example of needing reverse order (as denoted by its arrow), so you get n-e-t, not t-e-n, and highlight the net, not the 10. I hope that helps!

Help! IΓÇÖm stuck in the Hotel in Chapter 4. According to the hints I need the crowbar from the Court to progress, but I havenΓÇÖt been to the Court yet. And there doesnΓÇÖt seem to be a way leave the Hotel. Is there any way for me to move forward, or do I have to start the game over from the last place I saved? (Which was way too long ago.) Thanks.

On level 4. I have the correct room placements and placed the speaker with the button taped on the table with the cookie jar and open the lid to get the voice recording but I canΓÇÖt retrieve the speaker. ??? Help please!

In Chapter 2, in the Temple, I misinterpreted the gong clue while trying on my own; I made it 35 times harder or longer than it really was!
