Adventure Escape Mysteries – Puzzle Lovers

Haiku Games is back with a new Adventure Escape game, this time a romance-adventure in which you get to choose your character and then date men, women or both! You’ll solve the world’s greatest puzzles in the most beautiful locales. This walkthrough guide should help you if you get stuck on any of the puzzles in Chapter 6 of Puzzle Lovers. Feel free to ask for extra help in the comments section.

Chapter 6:

1. It looks like we’re going to try and save your vineyard and your stepmom. There’s only one parachute, so we can only take one person with us. Choose your final partner. I went with Jake.

2. You’ll automatically pick up the parachute. Then pull the lever to open the hatch and jump out.

3. Were outside the vineyard gate. Get rid of the parachute and the barricades. Then find the screwdriver, fruit picker, truck key and duct tape.

4. Use the duct tape to fix the wires. Use the key to unlock the truck door and get the fire extinguisher and cleaning cloth. Also, remove the headlights and grab the wires. You can also now use the fruit picker to fix the wire.

5. Use the fire extinguisher to put out the fire. Then use the cleaning cloth to wipe up the foam to find a clue. Use it to also clean up the puddle and the ash for two more clues. You can also access the intercom now, but it’s not working. So use the screwdriver to open it up and replace the wires.

6. Press the intercom button now that it’s working. Your stepmom tells you that she forgot the code for the gate lock but your dad probably left hints. Those are the clues we found on the ground.

7. First, type in some random numbers to see the color for each section. Then let’s look at the clues again. We need to use them together with the keypad to figure out the code. Green 2 is already given to us, so that’s the first number. We then have a purple arrow pointing down and another purple arrow pointing northwest. If you look at the keypad and move one key down from 2, you end up at 5. If you then go northwest from 5, you get 1. So the purple number is 1. For orange, we have two down arrows, so go down twice from 1, giving you 7. And last, we have one white arrow going right. So from 7, go right to 8. You end up with 2178. Enter that to unlock the gate.

8. Use the fire extinguisher to put out the flames and go through. You’ll have another dialogue option.

9. We need to turn on the sprinkler system! Find the wrench and cables. Also, there’s a wireless router but it’s not connected at the moment.

10. Move the crates away to reveal the sprinkler control panel and an antenna that you should pick up. Look at the control panel. Notice the red and green paint on the outside. Take the paperclip and notice the blue and yellow paint on the inside. The paint tells you that the numbers go in this order — Red, Blue, Yellow, Green. Also, use the wrench to remove the axel on the wheelbarrow wheel and then push the wheelbarrow aside. Remove the tarp to reveal some pipes that haven’t been installed.

11. Let’s solve the Pipes Puzzle. Slide each pipe square until all the pipes connect. Oddly, it accepts imperfect solutions that don’t actually connect all the pipes. I’m not even sure there’s a way to do it properly.

12. We now have everything we need for the wireless router. So look at it again and plug in the two cables. Attach the antenna. Then use the paperclip in the tiny hole to reset the router.

13. Now we just need to unlock the control panel. Take a look at all the grapes and clean them off with the cleaning cloth.

14. So we can see now that there are 3 Red, 6 Blue, 4 Yellow and 5 Green grapes. So enter 3645 to unlock the sprinkler controls.

15. Press the red button to turn on the sprinklers. It’s too late, though! The house burned down. Head towards the wine cave to see if your stepmom is in there.

16. Use the fire extinguisher to put out all the flames. Then break up the fallen tree that’s in the way.

17. Grab Carmela’s scarf and then use it to clean off the label of the wine bottle. We need to use the clue to figure out how to unlock the door.

18. First, look at the door lock. Rotate through all the numbers to see that each one has a red and white number. You need to find where those two numbers cross on the wine label in order to get the four numbers for the code. I circled them for you. You end up with 7849. Enter that to unlock the door and go through.

19. Let’s get to the lake! First, we have to solve another puzzle. You need to get to the end of the path. Either move or use the fire extinguisher. When you use your extinguisher, you’ll have to decide which fire to fight. You can only do one at a time. I made a video for you.

20. Now you have two more dialogue choices, but what you say still doesn’t determine the ending. The plane will fly over and dump water on the fire, putting it all out.

21. The whole cast is back now and you have to give someone the rose. Talk to everyone. Then pick up the decision rose and choose who to give it to. If you don’t want to give it to anyone, put it in the bucket. I wanted to see what would happen if I chose Xia (we were flirting an awful lot) so I gave it to her.

22. You then have to decide what you want out of the relationship. And that’s the end! You can replay and see what other characters say when you choose them.
