Adventure Escape Mysteries – Framed (for Murder)

Framed is a Haiku Classic game that’s now available in Adventure Escape Mysteries. Kate’s old police commander, Sylvia, is under suspicion for a murder she didn’t commit! You need to help Kate uncover the true culprit and clear Sylvia’s name. I have a walkthrough for the standalone version called Framed for Murder, but some things have changed so here is a new one. This walkthrough guide will help if you get stuck on any of the puzzles in Chapter 8 of Framed. Feel free to ask for extra help in the comments section.

Chapter 8:

1. Go back to the dorms. It’s dark. Go into the elevator and press B for the basement. You can now access it.
2. Pick up the sponge and paperclip. You need information about Caesar’s locker before you can open it. So go back up to the third floor and to room 15, Caesar’s room.
3. Use the paperclip with the paint thinner bottle and then take it. Look through Caesar’s New Student Orientation file. It tells you that his locker number is 827. Also, pull off the covering to reveal the abstract painting in the corner. Spray paint thinner on it and use the sponge to reveal the numbers 5773.
4. Go back to the basement and zoom in on Caesar’s locker. Enter his locker number, 827. Now we need to use the weird arrow buttons to enter 5773 as the code. Basically, the red arrows will make a specific digit go down a number and the green arrows will make a specific digit go up a number. Just tap the buttons the numbers of times shown in the photo below. Then a locker will open, revealing a map.
5. Follow the directions on the map to find Caesar’s stash. Notice the compass at the bottom — North is not pointing up. Once you have the right spot, double-tap on it to search it. I circled the correct spot below.
6. Head to the garden. Pick up the rake, shears, the hat from the statue to the left, and the pink puzzle piece and red puzzle piece. Also, notice the four clues around the garden:
WATCHFUL EYES FOLLOW HANDS.
BALANCING ACT.
REACH TO THE STARS.
GRASP FLOWING WATER.
7. Arrange the statue based on those clues. It should look like the photo below. The bottom of the statue will open up, revealing a puzzle. We’ll come back to that. Use the rake in the zen garden to find the purple puzzle piece. Use the shears to access the green puzzle piece and also on the kite to get the kite frame. Use the kite frame on the clogged fountain spout. Then use the hat to collect a yellow puzzle piece from the fountain.
8. Tap on the puzzle under the statue and then let’s solve Caesar’s Box! Add the five pieces to it. You need to move all the pieces to the correct places. The colors and shapes must match. It should look like the photo below. I believe each starting position is different, but you can watch my video below for extra help. Then it’ll open up. Listen to the recording and take the USB stick. Also, inspect wire tap to complete the chapter.

Could you explain the directions on the map? How did you arrive at that point?
The map was so ridiculous. You need to be a giant to have steps so big they reach that spot, given the scale of the things in real life 😪
Hopefully you have already solved it but jic– look for the compass at the TOP right corner. “North-South” runs diagonally, not vertically
I solved the Caesars box puzzle but the game won’t acknowledge. I have checked MULTIPLE times and spent stars to get the solution. Arrrgh!!
Three steps forward? Which way is forward? I’ve tried everything, this map is impossible.
