Haiku Games is back with a new Adventure Escape game, and this time you’re playing as Marcus, who accepts an invitation to beta test an exclusive new augmented reality game called “Death Dodgers.” But the game is more than it appears to be. Help Marcus claim victory in a mysterious augmented reality game with dangerously high stakes! This walkthrough guide should help you if you get stuck on any of the puzzles in Chapter 4 of Death Dodgers. Feel free to ask for extra help in the comments section.

Chapter 4:

1. It’s Day 4 and Marcus and Stella decide that Stella will play both of their games while Marcus tries to talk to the hacker who’s been helping him. You’re on the corner of 18th and Mocsy. You want to get up to the window that’s lit up, but if you try climbing the fire escape, it falls apart! Pick up the ladder.

2. Use the ladder to climb up and open the toolbox to get a flashlight.

3. Use the flashlight on the dark doorway so you can see inside. Then find the employee handbook, hammer, nails, crowbar and plank. Then look at the employee handbook.

4. The employee rules tell you which colors to focus on for each number. If you stay in that room and look around, you can find all the objects mentioned.

1 = Pencil = Yellow
2 = Gloves + Apron = Yellow + Blue = Green
3 = Hard hat = Blue
4 = Flashlight = Red
5 = Hammer + Crowbar = Red + Blue = Purple
6 = Pride = Dorn = Yellow

5. Go back and use the crowbar to remove the two planks from the window so you now have three. Also, change the colors on the lock on the right to YGBRPY to open it. Then look inside.

6. Open the cabinet and take the key fob.

7. Go back out and use the key fob with the van. Take the plank from inside.

8. Now we have everything we need. Place all four planks on the table. Add the nails and then use the hammer on them to make a long plank.

9. Use the long plank as a bridge to get to the window and climb through.

10. Look at the photo on the table and then turn it around to see that the Game Master is the one who sent Marcus the invitation to play Death Dodgers. Then move it aside and grab the paper clip.

11. Use the paperclip to unlock the door and go through.

12. Grab the hand truck and also the knob from under the mask. Also, use the crowbar to open the crate and take the gas siphon. Make sure to also grab the photo from the computer monitor.

13. Leave the room. Then use the hand cart on the wardrobe to move it and get another photo. Then enter the kitchen.

14. Put the knob on the stove. Take the photo from the fridge door and another from the cabinet. Open the freezer and get the frozen bowl and place it on the burner. Turn on the flame to melt the bowl.

15. Go back outside and use the gas siphon with the van. Then place the bowl under it to get a bowl of gasoline.

16. Go back inside to the office. Pour the gasoline into the generator. The PC still won’t turn on! We need to solve the Generator Puzzle. Rearrange the tubes so that all of the golden tubes are connected on one continuous path. Hall tubes in the grid must be connected to other tubes on all ends. Drag a tube to slide it. Press a button next to one of the 3 x 3 grids to pop it out of the generator. Then select another grid, and the two grids will swap places. I made a video for you.

17. Now the computer is on. Take a look at it. First, tap on the little lock icon and then press “Unlock All.” Then, tap on the Death Dodgers logo to see the hacking code. Use the arrows to look at the left monitor and the right monitor and note down the shapes that light up.

18. Go back the the living room and you’ll see that the locked safe is open. Take the photo and the tablet from inside.

19. Look at the tablet. You need to input the correct pattern to unlock it, so we’ll come back to that.

20. Place all the photos on the table. Notice they have colored circles on them. Turn them over to see shapes that match the shapes you saw on the computer screens. Rearrange them based on the location of the shapes on the monitors. It should look like the image below. Then flip the photos over again and copy the colored circles onto the tablet. It should unlock if you did it right. Read through everything.

21. So it turns out Marcus’s admin is the ghost of his friend, Jaime, and the Game Master is a Death God. Jaime is trying to prevent Marcus from dying in her game. Jaime shows up and tells you it’s all true. And that only one person can live. But he says he’ll try to figure something out to stop the killing. First, you have to go help Stella win your game or you’ll be eliminated. So you’re now at a hockey game. Jaime gives you a device. Also, grab the hockey skate and turn the remote over to see it’s missing the batteries. Look at everything on the bulletin board and then look at the cubbies.

22. Use the hockey skate to cut open the drawstrings on the yellow bag. Then take the batteries from inside.

23. Insert the batteries in the remote. Then use the remote to turn on the TV. Pay attention to the players and then tap it to change it to another scene. There are three of them in total.

24. Now, let’s use all the information we found to open the safe. Start with the four names on the position changes list on the bulletin board. They’re Nasonov, Lee, Koskonen and Holm. Their positions tell you whether to turn the dial right or left. Now we just need to find their numbers. Nasonov is easy because his photo is on the bulletin board. He’s 26, so the first number on the safe will be RIGHT 26. Lee is in the first scene on the TV and his number is 9. So the next number on the safe is LEFT 9. Koskonen is trickier. Look at the cubbies and notice a pattern that helps you fill in the missing jersey numbers. We have 22 and 55 there, so the rest should be 11, 33 and 44, making each one a multiple of 11. You then end up with 33 for Koskonen, making the third number on the safe LEFT 33. And finally, Holm is in the second scene on the TV and his number is 27. So the final safe number is LEFT 27.

25. Take the key from the safe and use to open the door to get to the hockey rink.

26. Stella is losing against two players who teamed up together! Use the device to help her score a goal.

27. Now we need to help her score again by solving the Hockey Puzzle. Score a goal without letting SwampThang or Gainz get the puck. Select a green wall to rotate it. Walls can only be rotated once each. After a wall rotates, SwampThang and Gainz will both move one space. Select one of the pink arrows around Stella to have her shoot the puck in that direction. For the first one, set it up like the image below and then press the pink down arrow.

28. The next one is harder. Again, set it up like the image below. Then press the pink right arrow to score the final goal and win the game!
