Your House: A Hidden Truth

Your House is a prequel to unmemory, a text-based game that released in 2020. It has you playing as a woman named Debbie who is sent a key to a house, which she sets out to explore. There’s many secrets to discover, including how the house relates to her. It can be tricky at times, so this walkthrough guide should help if you get stuck. Feel free to ask for extra help in the comments section.

Chapter 2:
You can watch my video for Chapter 2 or continue below for my step-by-step guide:
1. Tap on the bolded word shower and then walks out.
2. Tap on putting and then leaves and then leaves again.
3. Tap on stairs and then living room.
4. Tap on the image of the radio and press the on/off button to turn it off. Then tap on the word hall.
5. Once in the hall, tap on the peephole at the top of the page to look through it.
6. Tap on the word retraces. You can then choose between the wooden door or sliding door. I chose wooden door first. This takes you to the office. Head back to the living room.
7. This time, open the sliding door to go to the dining room. Then head to the kitchen. Then open the back door.
8. There’s a package in front of the door! Tap on the word opens to open it. There’s a scrap book inside. Tap on book to open the book. Feel free to read through it. I recommend taking screenshots of each page.
9. Debbie notices she’s seen the blue shoes before. Tap on the word exits to leave the room. We’re now in the living room again. Head upstairs to the second floor hallway. There are some portraits on the wall. You can ignore them for now but we need to come back to them later.
10. You can now choose the study or the bedroom. Head to the bedroom. Next, go to the dressing room.
11. Tap on the image of the shelves and then tap the blue shoes a couple of times to turn them around. Notice they say VHF 104 MHz on them.
12. After you leave the image of the shoes, Debbie will notice a locked safe in the spot where she found the shoes. You can make out the words Pulin & Associates and a small red button. We’ll come back to that.
13. Go back to the bedroom and then the hallway and then the living room. Tap on the image of the radio again and change the station to 104 and press the button at the bottom that says VHF. Then pay attention to the broadcast. It says:
“If you’re listening to this, bear in mind that those motley architects with you know how to open the shield box. Follow the path that leads from mustache to glasses, then to hat, and lastly to bow tie.”
14. Tap on further to go back to the hallway. Now look at the portraits on the wall. Find the man with the mustache and then notice it’s straight DOWN to the man in glasses, RIGHT to the woman in a hat, and DOWN to the man in a bow tie. So now we just need to find a place to use that.
15. We haven’t been to the study yet, so head over there. You’ll see a locked box, which is exactly what we were looking for. Change the knobs so they point DOWN, RIGHT, DOWN to open it. There’s a stereoscope inside that is missing slides. Theres also a business card with three holes punched into it. Notice it says PAGE 51 on it. Pick it up.
16. Tap on the word book to open the book. Flip to page 51 to see the punched card. Tap it a few times until you see an X and 7 through the holes. Together you get X7, or times seven. It’s telling you to do something seven times. And we’ve seen Pulin & Associates before — in the dressing room! So let’s get back there.
17. Go back to the hallway and then the bedroom and then finally the dressing room. Look at the safe again and press the red button seven times to open it. It will turn green if you did it right. Then take the stereoscope slides from inside.
18. Press on leaves to go back to the bedroom. Then go back to the hallway and then to the study. Pick up the stereoscope/viewmaster again. This time you can see the slides. Pay attention to the ones with X’s on them. There are three — Daily Planet, Fawlty Towers Hotel, and Pulin & Associates.
19. Tap on leaves to to go back to the bedroom and then head to the bathroom. Tap on the image to zoom in on a framed painting. Tap the two hooks at the top to remove it from the wall.
20. Notice another Pulin & Associates card. This one says PAGE 49 on it.
21. Scroll back up to find the book again and look through it. Go to page 49 and you’ll see a map. Make note of those three spots with the X’s. I marked them for you.
22. And finally, press the three tiles where you placed X’s on the map. A hidden door will open, leading to a secret passageway. You’ll automatically go through and get a cutscene. That’s the end of the chapter!
