Adventure Escape Mysteries – Dino Country

Haiku Games is back with a new Adventure Escape game, and this time you’re playing as Catalina Romero, who is in charge of her family’s dino ranch while her parents are away. But dinosaurs have been going missing lately and you have to stop the smugglers! This walkthrough guide should help you if you get stuck on any of the puzzles in Chapter 4 of Dino Country. Feel free to ask for extra help in the comments section.

Chapter 4:

1. Grab the kerosene and then pour it into the lantern to turn it on. Now we can see!
2. Grab the shovel, labels and clipboard. Take a look at the clipboard. We’ll come back to that later.
3. Use the shovel to dig through all the rubble. Then grab the can opener and two more sets of labels. We can use those labels on the paper pinned to the desk.
4. We need to use the clipboard together with the mineral deposits to figure out where to place each name. Look at the colors under each name on the clipboard. Then find a vein that has those colors and find that same shape on the pinned poster and label it that same name.
5. Now, note down the missing letter in each name and enter that into the locked trunk to open it.

3 = PARSON = A
4 = ROMERO = M
5 = SLATER = R
6 = CASSIDY = D
So you get SCAMRD. Then take the wrench from inside.
7. Use the wrench to remove the wooden planks and then go through the opening.
8. Grab the gear and pan. Use the shovel to move the rock. Then grab the crank handle and use the pan to get another gear. Try to use the crank handle with the green metal box, but it won’t work. Also, look at the ammonites/fossils on the wall and also the locked cage. I’ll tell you how to unlock it.
9. Notice that each of the ammonites has a pattern on it. It also has an up or down arrow and either one or two borders outlining it. Find those same symbols on the lock and then move the piece up or down one or two spaces depending on the direction of the arrows and how many borders that ammonite has. Or copy my solution below.
10. Take the gear from the cage. Then use the can opener to open the green metal box.
11. Place all three gears inside the box and then use the crank handle with it. Use the wrench to tighten it and then wind the crank. Tap on the elevator to take it up!
12. We’re in a new area now but there’s a huge dinosaur blocking our way out! First, dig up the two mounds of dirt and grab the piles of bones.
13. Now, take a look at each of the pink crystals and notice there’s smaller purple crystals around it. Each pink crystal has either 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 purple crystals. That tells you the order to place the matching bone on the fossil nearby. Copy the patterns so it looks like the image below. Then you’ll get a bunch of gems.
14. Place the gems next to the lantern and let’s solve the Crystal Puzzle. Place the gems in the slots to redirect the lantern beams. Hit the large crystal with four separate beams to scare away the dino. Then take the elevator up.
15. Use the can opener to open the chest and take the oil can from inside. Also, use the shovel to dig up the mound of dirt and then grab the wheel. Add the wheel to the overturned cart.
16. Use the wrench to tighten the wheel. Then flip it over and grab the lever handle. Attach the lever handle to the mechanism and then oil it to loosen it up. Pull the lever!
17. Now we have to solve the Tracks Puzzle. Select a yellow track to rotate it and its adjacent tracks. Use the green lever to rotate the track in the upper right corner. Align all tracks horizontally to win. I made a video for you.
18. Grab the bolt cutters and use them to cut the chain on the crate. Then open it and take the pickaxe.
19. Go back to the other room and use the pickaxe on the rock inside the triceratops skull’s mouth. Then grab some of the rubble. While here, take note of the green cactus, red star, and of course the blue inside the skull mouth.
20. Go back up and add the rubble to the empty cart. Notice the drawings on the front of each cart and also the white cowboy hat. Then tap on the controls and use all the information you found to figure out which directions to point each lever. We get:
Green = Cactus = Up
Blue = Triceratops = Right
Red = Star = Down
White = Cowboy Hat = Left
Then you’ll automatically use the carts to break through the bars and escape!
