Adventure Escape Mysteries – Dino Country

Haiku Games is back with a new Adventure Escape game, and this time you’re playing as Catalina Romero, who is in charge of her family’s dino ranch while her parents are away. But dinosaurs have been going missing lately and you have to stop the smugglers! This walkthrough guide should help you if you get stuck on any of the puzzles in Chapter 6 of Dino Country. Chapter 6:

1. Boone’s train already took off! Sugar hops on top of it and then Catalina and the others head inside. We need to find Boone! First, grab the dangling chain and a feather. Open the mirror and take the train wheel and projector slide from inside. Tap on the projector to see it needs a new bulb. Move the pillow and grab the book. Also, look at the bookshelves in the back and grab another projector slide and another book. Tap on the wall to see words that say, “dance is the key to freedom.” Also, look at the train ashtray and take the cigar. While looking at the train ashtray, add the wheel. We’ll come back to it.

2. Use the feather to wake the sleeping dino and then open the briefcase and take the book and projector slide from inside. Use the cigar on the bee cage and then take the worms.

3. Throw the worms to the small caged dinos and take the key when they’re distracted.

4. Use the key to unlock the drawer and take another projector slide and strange paper from inside.

5. Add all the books to the bookshelves and then replace the chain that’s missing. Pull the switch to lower the chandelier and then take a lightbulb from it.

6. Place the lightbulb and all the projector slides into the projector. Then take a close look at the slides. Notice the dancers are between a symbol (fleur-de-lis?) and a number.

7. Use the slides together with the strange paper to figure out how to solve the train ashtray puzzle. The strange paper tells you how to orient the wheel for each number. You need to follow the colored lines that connect a symbol to a wheel. You can also copy my solution below. Then take the gold key.

8. Use the gold key to unlock the door and go through to the next train car.

9. Grab the rope segment from Thunder and another rope segment from the curtain. Also, pick up the walking cane, silver spoon, and three train tickets. Then head out the door.

10. Use the spoon to open the vent and grab two more train tickets. Use the walking cane to break the glass and get another rope segment. Use the walking cane to also break the glass on the right and get the clock hand. Then remove the ropes around the dino feed and take the wheel crank. We need to find more ropes to add to the trap.

11. Go back inside and add the hand to the clock. Then look at the tickets in your hand and change the clock time to the time listed on each of those tickets. Pay attention to which of the cylinders at the bottom chimes and which dinosaur pops out at the top. Next, place the wheel crank on the framed First Class Dessert Specials. Turn it to see the dessert for each day of the week. Pay attention to the colored star on each. Then go to the table with glasses full of candies and match the heights of the glasses to the dinosaurs, based on the size of the clock cylinders. Organize them according to the days of the week, so Monday, Tuesday, etc. It goes Orange, White, Dark Blue, Light Blue, Pink. You can also copy my solution below.

12. Take the rope segment from inside the cabinet.

13. We should now have enough rope segments for the trap so go back outside. Add the four rope segments to the rest. Now we have to solve the Net Trap puzzle. Connect every knot by finding the correct path that allows you to travel through each line exactly once. I made a video for you.

14. Ring the bell to get the thieves’ attention and catch them in the trap. Then head into the next car.

15. This is the last car! Open the suitcase and grab the coin. Lift the rug to reveal a trap door that we can’t open yet. Drop the hanging jacket to reveal a medicine cabinet that’s missing the handle. And remove the painting on the wall to reveal a locked safe. There’s also three doors we can go through. Let’s go through the red scorpion door first.

16. Look inside the newspaper to get another coin. Open the drawer to find the scorpion key and use it to unlock the cabinet to the right. Then take the corkscrew from inside.

17. Leave that room and go through the purple hummingbird door. Use the corkscrew to open the perfume oil bottle and take it. Also, find two more coins here.

18. Leave the room and pour the perfume oil on the trap door to loosen it. Take the crowbar and cabinet handle from inside.

19. Use the crowbar to open the crate and get another coin and a field guide. Use the cabinet handle on the cabinet and take the stethoscope from inside.

20. Use the stethoscope to open the safe and take the coin. Open the box and get the brooch.

21. Now let’s finally go through the green dragonfly door. Open the purse and take another coin. Use the brooch to unlock the box and take the binoculars. Use the binoculars to look outside the window. Drag the screen to the left and line it up so you see four different types of dinosaurs. Then drag the screen to the right and line it up to see four more types.

22. Go back to the car and tap on the main door. Add all seven coins you found to the lock. Then look at the field guide and use that information together with the dinosaurs outside the window to solve the puzzle. Read the description for each footprint and match it to a dinosaur you saw. So it goes:

Left side:

Rhamphorhynchus | Pachycephalosaurus
Brachiosaurus | Spinosaurus

Right side:

Parasaurolophus | Velociraptor
Diplodocus | Iquanodon

23. Now let’s solve the Dino Tracks puzzle. Press the silver buttons to move the coins around so the footprints are in the right positions. I made a video for you.

24. Boone refuses to stop the train and Sugar knocks him out, also breaking the lever. The engine is on fire and we have to detach the other cars. To solve the gear puzzles, align the red dots on the gold gears with the red dots on the edges of the grid. Slide the gears around the grid up/down or left/right, then use the larger crank to rotate them. I made videos for each one.

And now watch the ending! Congratulations! You saved the dinos!
