The Mr. Rabbit Magic Show

It’s the 10th anniversary of Rusty Lake, and to celebrate the developers have given us a brand new game completely for free! The Mr. Rabbit Magic Show consists of 20 short acts. After you complete the acts, you can revisit the office and solve more puzzles while looking for achievements, You can find the rest of my walkthrough here. This walkthrough guide should help you get through the bonus office area. Feel free to ask for extra help in the comments section.

Walkthrough:

Note: If you’re behind me on any of these steps, like you’re missing an item, check my Act 14 guide to make sure you did everything I have so far.

You can watch my video for the full game or continue below for my step-by-step guide:

1. Zoom back out from the laptop and talk to the guy behind the desk. He wants you to make everyone a toastie.

2. Go right and pick up the used soda can.

3. Go right and you’ll see a new Rusty Lake employee, Damy. Take the fridge door handle from him and take a look at the to-do list. There’s a lot more on it now!

4. Go right to the kitchen and throw the used soda can in the trash, along with any other trash you haven’t thrown out yet.

5. Attach the door handle to the fridge and open it. Take the bread, cheese, shrimp, salami, and Harvey’s egg from inside. Then go to the grill.

6. Use the grill to make toasties for everyone. We can make one with cheese, one with shrimp, one with salami, and one with egg. For each one, place a slice of bread inside the grill, then one of the other ingredients, then another slice of bread. Then close the grill. You’ll have a cheese toastie, shrimp toastie, egg toastie, and salami toastie when you’re done.



7. Feed each of the four people a toastie. It doesn’t really matter which ones.

8. The room will start to fill up with black smoke! Turn around the room to hear the employees exclaiming about the smoke. You forgot to turn off the grill! Keep turning until you see Albert in his deer skull.

9. Turn again and tap on the little floating light. And then another one.

10. Turn again until you see Mr. Crow. Tap on him to get out of the darkness.

11. You’ll then see Maarten wearing the Mr. Crow head. Tap on him and he’ll remove it. Another employee is also wearing Albert’s deer skull.

12. Go around the room and talk to the other employees. They all want you to order the cake, but first we need to know what number to call for the cake shop.

13. Maarten isn’t at his desk anymore, and he left his phone there. Take a look at it. One of the notes says, “4 photos = mail inlog code.” Look at the four photos. One is of the Harvey plushie dated 23/11/2024. One is of the automaton dated 26/03/2025. One is of the Paradox comic dated 18/07/2024. And the last one is the retro TV dated 14/04/2024.

14. Go back the display case and find those four items. The Harvey plushie is the third, so the first number is 3. The automaton shows a 9 if you turn it. The Paradox comic book has a 6 in it. And the Retro TV has a 1 on the third channel. Organize the four numbers based on the dates from the photos. So the numbers you get are 1639.

15. Go back to the phone and tap on the mail icon. Enter 1639 to unlock Maarten’s email.

16. Read through all the emails. The first one is from Crazy Cool Cakes and gives you their phone number — 02074.

17. Go back to the laptop desk and tap on the phone. Dial 02074 and they tell you the cake will be delivered in a few seconds.

18. Answer the door and let the cake in. Then find it by the to-do list. Tap it a few times to move it to the center of the room and take it off the trolley.

19. Use the matches to light all the candles and then rip off a piece of cake.

20. Talk to the blue-haired woman. She wants to taste the cake, so give her the piece of cake. She’ll give you a brush in return.

21. Go back to the kitchen and use the brush to clean up the shards near the trash can. Then toss them into the trash can, along with any trash you still have (the chocolate wrapper, crumpled paper, and can of soda). Then grab the key that appears.

22. Now we have to decorate the office. Use the key to unlock the storage closet. Pick up the pink LP and open the box to get two sets of birthday flags. There’s also now a bunch of balloons flying around the room.

23. Notice that each side of the room has a white hook near the ceiling. Attach the birthday flags to the hooks so they’re visible from every angle.

24. There’s a knock at the door! Answer it and some more employees arrive. One of them brought a new record.

25. Go back to the display case and open the package on the floor to get a red LP.

(Achievement Alert: Play the red LP on the record player to get the King of Spades.)

(Achievement Alert: Look around for a red balloon with ears. It disappears if you don’t tap on it and then you have to keep rotating around the room until you see it again. Tap on it a couple of times until it pops and something falls out of it. Grab it to get the Jack of Clubs.)

26. Go back to the cake and talk to everyone. They tell you to blow out the candles. So do so by tapping on each one. Then Mr. Rabbit shows up with one more surprise!

The end! Or is it? Keep going! Mostly to find more achievements.

27. (Achievement Alert: Tap on the Rusty Laker of the Month poster and pick up the card to get the Queen of Hearts.)

28. Look at Maarten’s phone again. There’s a lot of new stuff. First, there’s photos of Rusty Lake employees. Then, there’s two new emails about the New Safe. One says the safe is “behind the frame, just hit the hotel a few times.” The other one gives a hint for the new safe, 7285, but says “it’s more difficult than you think.”

29. There’s also a link on the phone for “The Intern – Rusty Lake’s 10th Anniversary Short Film.”

30. There’s a playable version of Cube Escape: The Lake on the phone. You can play around in it.

(Achievement Alert: Look inside the desk inside the phone game to get the Ace of Hearts.)

31. Look at Maarten’s computer screen for more clues. There’s one window for Achievements and another for Sketches.



32. Look at the desk of postcards next to Maarten’s desk. There’s one for Best Kept Memory with a phone number, 31 85 401 50 26. We’ll use that soon.

33. Go back to the laptop desk. The laptop allows you to revisit all the acts in the magic show to look for more achievements. But first let’s collect a couple of other cards.

(Achievement Alert: Look at the fan painting on the wall to the right to get the Jack of Spades card.)

(Achievement Alert: Open the folder on the right that says Rusty Lake Untold. Look through it find the King of Hearts.)

34. (Achievement Alert: Maarten’s computer told us to go back to Act 11, so go to the laptop and do so. Then wherever you saw a 1 on that grid, the light should be on. Then take the King of Diamonds from his hand.)

35. (Achievement Alert: The next clue on his computer says “Do rabbits eat fish?” It’s pointing us to Act 13, so use the laptop to get there. Feed the carrot to Mr. Rabbit – hat 6 — and the bone to the dog — hat 2. Then feed the fish to Mr. Rabbit — hat 6 — and take the Jack of Diamonds from his hand.)

36. (Achievement Alert: The next clue on Maarten’s computer says, “Don’t let the bunny die!” It points us to Act 9, so head there. This is tricky, as you’re not allowed to mess up at all if you want the achievement! If you manage it, he’ll hand you the Queen of Diamonds card.)

37. (Achievement Alert: The last clue on Maarten’s computer says, “Does he have an ace up his sleeve?” and points us to Act 3, so head there. Look at his right hand (your left) to find the Ace of Diamonds.)

38. (Achievement Alert: Look at the Sketches on Maarten’s computer. The first set refers to the blinds in that same view with his computer. You want to set them to match the three sets of lines. I have a screenshot for you if you can’t figure it out. Then pick up the Ace of Clubs that falls to the floor.)

39. (Achievement Alert: Look at the Sketches on Maarten’s computer. The second set refers to the retro TV. Each set of three lines is showing you a channel to set it to. So it goes: 1231213. Then take the Jack of Hearts.)

40. That’s all the regular cards, but there’s two jokers left. Remember the emails about the new safe? Tap on the hotel in the Rusty Lake painting a few times to reveal the safe. The hint we have for it is 7285 but the buttons aren’t numbered! Take a look again at the display case. Remember some items had numbers on them? 7 was the clock. 2 was the black cube. 8 was the crow mask. And 5 was the Best Kept Memory video player. So match those locations to the buttons on the safe and press the buttons in that order to open it. Take the usb stick and Evil Joker from inside.

41. You can plug the usb stick into the laptop for a preview of the next Rusty Lake game, but it doesn’t give you an achievement.

42. Remember the card on the table with the Best Kept Memory number? Go back to the phone and call the number, 31 85 401 50 26. Then turn around to see Chad Brunswick. Talk to him and then pull off his wig and glasses to see he’s actually Bob Rafferty. He gives you a VHS tape. Play it on the Best Kept Secret video player and then grab the Joker card from the screen.
