A new Glitch Games project is always exciting, but their latest is especially interesting because it’s a time loop game that forces you to restart the same day over and over. Developers Graham Ranson and Simon Pearce put their very British senses of humor into every game, and Recursion almost feels like one big joke — but in a good way. They know they’re toeing the line between genius and annoyance with this one, but thankfully it falls heavily on the genius side. I wrote more about the game here while I was still playing and have since completed it. There were certainly moments where I was cursing Graham and Simon, but in the end I can’t help but marvel at their audacity. Recursion is a bit reminiscent of Incoherence, thanks to its nonlinear system, and the two games are actually part of the Glitch Broken Dreams Collection. I, for one, like seeing them experiment with new ideas and hope to see more games in this collection.
Recursion will be out on iOS and Android on March 11th, but you can pre-order it right now on iOS for $3.99. Or you can enter my giveaway for a chance to win one of five (5) codes for the platform of your choice to download it for free a day early!

2. Tweet the hashtag #Recursion with this link https://www.appunwrapper.com/2024/03/07/recursion-giveaway/ and tell me which is your favorite game from Glitch Games. Make sure to state which platform you’d like a code for.
You can also share this page via Facebook for a second entry.
3. To make sure you’re entered, comment below with your Twitter/Facebook username and any methods you used to share, so I know you’re interested in a promo code. Make sure to state which platform you’d like a code for. Winners will be contacted through Twitter, Facebook or e-mail.
The contest will end March 10, 2024 at 12 PM EST and there will be a drawing for five (5) iOS winners and five (5) Google Play winners. Please make sure to use the code ASAP, as it does expire. To use the iOS code, go to the “Games” tab in the App Store, tap on your profile in the upper right and then tap “Redeem Gift Card or Code.” Paste the code in the text box and then log in with your Apple ID to redeem it. Then download and enjoy!
