Swim Out: Walkthrough Guide, Tips, Tricks and Solutions

This will be a complete walkthrough guide with hints, tips, tricks, answers and solutions for the iOS, Android and PC puzzle game, Swim Out, by Lozange Labs. Feel free to ask for extra help in the comments section.

– Some levels have secondary objectives. You can tap on the level number in the lower righthand corner to see what they are.


– This is very much a stealth puzzler, so you often have to shuffle around a lot to avoid other swimmers and obstacles.

– Try playing in portrait mode if you want to use one hand!

– You can throw balls at other items!

Items and Onstacles:

Breaststroker: Moves one tile per turn.

Backstroker: Moves once every other turn.

Beach Ball: After you pick this up, you can carry it around until you want to use it. To use it, tap on the ball icon and then choose who to throw it at. It will stun them in place for three moves.

Flippers: These make you move two squares per move for three turns. But if you hit a wall after on square, that will count as a full turn.

Lifesaver: This has to be used at the moment you pick it up. You can throw it to permanently stun another swimmer.

Kickboard: This takes up two squares and has a very specific movement pattern.

Noodle: This takes up two squares and has a different movement pattern than the Kickboard.

Goggles: These allow you to stay in place for one turn.

Kayak: Takes up two squares and moves two squares at a time.

Crab: These move around and stun you if they touch you. I’m still working out their movement pattern.

Fish: These will stun you for three turns.

Jellyfish: These stay out for one move, then move diagonally the second move, unless they’re out of space. If it hits you, you’re stunned for four moves.

Net: You must use this the second you pick it up. It stuns enemies for a few turns.

Water Pistol: This can be picked up and used at any time. Each one has three uses and stuns a swimmer for three turns. You can’t shoot behind you!

Boomerang: This follows a specific pattern and stuns you for a few moves if it hits you.

Fishermen and hooks: You can throw the hook at another swimmer to stun her for two moves!
