Army of Darkness defense is my favourite in that list by far. I used to think Plant Vs Zombies was good but it’s boring now…plus EA have bought PopCap so I think their IP will reduce in quality from now on.
I really liked AoDD myself, but didn’t play much after beating the game. Have you tried Legendary Wars? It has much more replay value.

I am currently playing cryptic caverns. And I can’t seem to get the withered old man to give me the key to the chapel. Does any one have any answers for me? I have looked at the walk through. And I am still at a stalemate.
