The Company Game
By: gary gogis (Chain Reaction Games)
The Company Game is a new puzzle game by Chain Reaction Games that asks you to crack codes, play with your device’s settings, and interpret Morse code. The puzzles can be tricky, so I’m here to help you with a step-by-step walkthrough guide. This section will help you with the second part of the game, SAIL. Feel free to ask for extra help in the comments section.
Level 0, Welcome: Tap the white circle. Keep tapping to continue and complete the level.
Level 1, Shredded: Use the sliders to combine the shredded images into one. Notice it also says SEA.
Level 2, : Tap on MANUAL OVERRIDE. This one takes some time, focus and patience. Tap the number 0 to make it climb. Keep tapping unless you see DON’T TAP. Wait until it disappears and continue tapping. If you see a blue HERE, tap that spot. You need to make it to 150 without any mistakes. You’re also on a timer! It’s going to require a lot of patience to complete it. Once you make it to 150, anything above that is for the leaderboards!
Level 3, Version Update: Tap on NEW! MESSAGE SECURITY SETTINGS. Then rotate each of the nodes to create a path to the red node. Now you can receive messages!
Level 4, Scan_ProjT.pdf: Read all the text.
Notice Page 1 has some Morse code on the right side. Use the decoder to translate it. It says:
•••- — •-• – • -••-
So the keyword is VORTEX!
If you look at Page 2, there are dots under some letters. Find them. The for with the arrow pointing down tells you to put them together in that order. You get:
I’m not sure if the letters are intentionally missing or I missed them, but you can fill in the blanks to get October Thirteenth. So that’s the day Project Terra will begin!
Then pay close attention to Page 3 and find all the circled letters. There’s a circle with an arrow pointing right, which tells you to put them together from left to right. If you do so, you get GATEEIGHT.
So the answer to “Where will Dr. S materialize?” is GATE EIGHT!
If you look at the bottom of Page 4, you see eight numbers: 02 21 18 14. That’s the 8-digit security code!
There’s also some underscored words: busy, always, team, won’t, NOT. I don’t know if they’re used for anything. Anyway, enter all four answers to complete the level.
You’ll also get this message:
Level 5, Remote Access: Press CONNECT. Now you have to type in some numbers. You may notice that the colored circles look similar to Apple’s calculator app. If you follow the path from s (start) to e (end), you get 139 x 15 = 2085. So the answer is 2085. Then press the circle to sum it you answer.
Level 6, Productivity: You can’t play any of the games in the WORK folder, but you need a password for The M Folder. First, look at the Klondike Solitaire cards. Write them down:
Jack of Diamonds, 10 of Clubs, 6 of Hearts, 5 of Spades, King of Clubs, 3 of Diamonds, Queen of Diamonds
Now, find those on the Roulette wheel. The left side is Hearts and Clubs and the right side is Diamonds and Spades. You get:
Enter that as the password!
Now you should have three new files available to you. The M.exe adds The M File to your + menu. If you open that, it’s an augmented reality cube! You can turn it and then tap the sides to change the colors, but I’m not sure how to tell which colors they should be. The other files — Mfile.txt and Symbols — explain what the box is and shows you the symbols. But I don’t see anything yet to help with the colors, so let’s come back to this later. We have enough to pass the level.
Bonus: Scroll down to the bottom to learn how to clear the orange dot and unlock Level 25.
Level 7, Drawer: Turn your device upside-down and then tap the crumpled up note to see it. That’s it!
Level 8, Castle: The clue here is REFLECTION. Look at the symbols and mirror them. They then look like the letters M O A T. A moat also happens to be the water surrounding a castle. So that’s the answer — MOAT.
Level 9, Scroll: This is called the Winchester Scroll. I think you first need to trace the circle. Then another puzzle will appear. You need to use the two buttons to recreate the circle with a line through it. Do the same for each symbol and by the end you’ll have the colors for all four symbols. Now you can go back to the M File and solve the black box.
Level 10, Location:
Notice the symbols. We need to translate them into letters somehow. So let’s first solve the M File.
The M File:
Now that we have the information we need, open the M File again. Change the colors on the sides to match the colors you saw in Level 9. One of them is black, so you can just ignore it.
Now, a sort of calculator will open up at the top. Tap on it and you can now press the buttons. You want to tap a shape at the same time as some dots. So remember, he symbols were like so:
Circle + 2 dots: O
Square + 1 dot: A
Triangle + 4 dots: K
Then solve the little puzzle to learn that the location is HILLVIEW, USA.
Level 11, Picture: Just keep taking screenshots. Each photo seems to have clues on it, so keep them for later.
Level 12, Messages (3): This level has three messages. Read the first one.
The second one has an audio recording of beeps. It’s Morse code! Translate it.
-• = N
••- = U
— = M
-••• = B
• = E
•-• = R
So you get NUMBER! Open the attachment and enter NUMBER as the password. Now you’ll have a new decoder for numbers. It turns numbers into letters.
Open the third message.
Then open the attachment. Then use the decoder to translate the numbers into letters. You get:
03 15 18 18 21 16 20 09 15 14 = CORRUPTION
Reply to the message with the word CORRUPTION to get this message. Now you can complete the level.
Level 13, Disco Inferno: Remove the OUT OF ORDER sign and then remove the WARNING sign. You need to then hold the red button down with one finger while you play the game with another. If you accidentally lift your finger from the red button, the whole machine will reset itself and you’ll have to start again. The game itself involves pressing the correct arrow buttons when the arrow lands on them. Make sure you don’t lift your finger off the red button before you get your initials entered to register the high score! You need to beat 31500. It’s not easy! You then get a ticket for winning.
