My Week Unwrapped: March 15, 2024 – Recursion, Matexo and More

Hi everyone, and welcome back to My Week Unwrapped, where I discuss all the games I’ve been playing over the last seven days. Unfortunately, one of my Of Two Minds videos got taken down by YouTube over a month after it was uploaded, due to sex/nudity. Since the same exact thing happened to one of my IMMORTALITY videos over a year ago, I now have a strike on my account and can’t upload videos for a week. I tried fighting it, but couldn’t make them see reason. So I’ve been recording more videos this week than I’ve uploaded and will upload them next week when the penalty period is up. Let’s at least discuss the three games I was able to cover this week.

Recursion

I spoke a lot about Glitch Games’ Recursion over the last couple of weeks and even had a giveaway recently. Now the game’s out for everyone and I also finished my walkthrough. While this is on the shorter end compared to the developer’s other games, I really liked the time loop “gimmick” and how you have to use it to your advantage while also working around it. It’s a clever game and it felt satisfying to solve all the puzzles. I highly recommend it to any puzzle fans. BRXVV403XCQGQ2WB60HGBFX

Matexo

I started playing Matexo last week and found its math-based puzzles intriguing. I’ve since played through the first five level packs, though I was only able to upload the video for the third one before my YouTube strike kicked in. D74V76KC0ML9E4ATXC5E9RM I’ll upload more videos next week, but I’m surprised and impressed by how tricky some of these puzzles can be. If you’re not allergic to math, I recommend giving it a try, especially since it’s free with ads and an IAP to remove them. I also have my walkthrough in progress here.

Genshin Impact

And last, the 4.5 update for Genshin Impact arrived this week, but I can’t show you that footage yet. Instead, I have a video of some Fontaine and Chenyu Vale exploration. But I am enjoying the new event that’s going on right now, which reminds me of Potion Permit‘s potion mixing puzzles. I’ll show you those videos next week, together with Chiori gameplay and possibly her story quest. 080PVNZW9UT70BPZYBC5Y0B

And that’s everything I’ve been up to this week, at least what I’m able to show you. I also have a few iOS and Android codes left for Recursion, so I included some at various points throughout this post. Please comment to let me know if you redeemed one so I can delete it. I’m also still watching The X-Files. I’m currently on the sixth season and just watched the time loop episode titled Monday, which is very fitting since Recursion released this week. Anyway, let me know in the comments section which games you’re playing and I’ll see you back here next time with more of My Week Unwrapped!
