Adventure Escape Mysteries – Sweet Dreams

Haiku Games is back with a new Adventure Escape game, this time about a 5-year-old boy’s dreams. You play as Revi, a Dream Manager who has to help young Arlo conquer his fears about starting school. This walkthrough guide should help you if you get stuck on any of the puzzles in Chapter 2 of Sweet Dreams. Feel free to ask for extra help in the comments section.

Chapter 2:

1. Revi is inside Arlo’s dream. He really likes candy! First, move the big lollipops aside and grab the candy corn. Also, tap the other lollipops to break them open and see there’s peppermint candies inside. Talk to the alpaca to learn that he’s thirsty. Then head right along the path.

2. It’s Arlo! We need to help him find a way to the door in the clouds. Grab the candy cane. Give the chick the candy corn to make her leave her nest. Then grab the candy eggs. Go back to the gingerbread house.

3. Use the candy cane to pull the lever on the house. Then grab the cookie heart from the icing.

4. Place the cookie heart in the lock on the door. Oh no, there’s another lock!

5. We have to figure out how many chocolates to put in each box. Go around and count all the peppermint candies, cupcakes, cherries and macarons. Make sure to move the lollipops aside to see more! You end up with:

Peppermint candies: 8
Cupcakes: 5
Cherries: 4
Macarons: 7

So fill the box with those numbers. It should look like the image below.

6. Head inside the gingerbread house. Pick up the brush, candy soda and broom. Also, look at the gingerbread cookie recipe on the conveyor belt.

7. Use the broom to sweep the stairs. Then go look at the top of the stairs.

8. There’s a whole lot of candy here. There’s two of each kind and we have to match them. Then you’ll get a small key.

9. Use the small key to unlock the cupboards and get the empty bowl and cookie mix. Then leave the gingerbread house.

10. Now we need some icing. Use the bowl to scoop some up. Also, remember the alpaca was thirsty? Give him the candy soda. Then use the brush to remove all his sprinkles. You’ll automatically pick them up.

11. Now we have all the ingredients. Go back inside the house. Follow the recipe and add the candy eggs, sprinkles, icing and cookie mix into the tank.

12. Now we just need to turn the oven on. We need to figure out which design to set each dial to. This is not the most obvious clue, but notice the stairs have the same designs as on the oven dials. You need to set the dials to those three types of cookies, starting from the bottom with the pink one, then the yellow, then the chocolate. Then grab the cookies.

13. Go back to the bridge. Place the pile of cookies down next to the bridge and work out how to place them. You can copy my solution if you’re stuck.

14. Cross the bridge and talk to the giant gummy bear named Greta. She says she can help you with the gumball machine if you help her find her 8 gummy bear friends. Grab the spoon and the licorice rope.

15. Use the licorice rope to pull in the boat and then grab the gummy bear. Use the spoon to scoop out some of the two piles of ice cream and then grab the two chocolate coins. Make sure to also grab the chocolate coin from the boat.

16. Go back to the gingerbread house scene. There are three gummy bears outside. One of them is by the alpaca and he’ll ask you to pick up the wrappers after he leaves. So do so and then look at it for a clue.

17. Head inside the gingerbread house to find four more gummy bears.

18. Go back to Greta and give her the 8 gummy bears. Now we have to solve the Gummy Bear Merge puzzle. Swipe each bear into a matching bear to merge them into an even bigger bear. When you match two big bears, they’ll be cleared from the grid. The goal is to clear all the gummy bears from the grid.

18. Now we can finally use the gumball machine. Remember the candy wrapper? It has eight animals on it. If you watch the clouds, you can see three of them in the sky — a rabbit, dolphin and turtle. Locate those on the candy wrapper and then insert a chocolate coin in those same slots on the gumball machine.

19. Give Greta the three chocolate coins and then place them in those slots.

20. Pick up the gumball and give it to Greta. And that’s the end of the chapter!
