The Mystery of Blackthorn Castle 2

Blackthorn Castle 2 is the latest point-and-click adventure game from Syntaxity. It’s the sequel to The Mystery of Blackthorn Castle and has you traveling back in time to a 14th century castle to break the dark wizard’s spells and find a mysterious artifact. It can be tricky at times, so this walkthrough guide should help you if you get stuck on any puzzles. Feel free to ask for extra help in the comments section.

136. Head into the gazebo at Scene 76 and open the bench. Take the rope. While here, use the crowbar to lift up the floorboard and get the mushrooms.
137. Go back to Scene 60 and place the mushrooms, gold dust, vinegar and trumpet vine flower into the four bowls. Then take the blue powder.
138. Go back to Scene 88 and place the green crystal on the green pedestal. A beam of light will shoot us to Scene 89.
139. Go up to Scene 89 and place the green glass lens over the beam of light. It will reflect the beam over to Scene 98.
140. Go back to Scene 98 and solve the puzzle on the wall. The beam of light will now go through to Scene 97.
141. Go back to Scene 97 and place the green orb down. The light will now shine down to Scene 101.
142. Go left to Scene 99 and use the rope to climb down to Scene 100.
143. Place the metal dial on the door and then rotate it so the notch fits in the space. Just keep doing that till the door opens.
144. Head through to Scene 101. Place all five glowing rune stones down and then the blue powder. The wizard appears. He tells you you broke the spell and gives you a brass cube to help you get home.
145. Go back to Scene 16. Insert the brass cube on the machine and then rotate it to reveal a puzzle. Arrange the tiles like the image below to solve it. Then go home and read Uncle Henry’s postcard!

The flute doesn’t work after several tries

The tower and Roman Numerals… Place balls at 2,4,5 in the 2nd to last column. In the 2nd column, place balls at 1,4; then move ove 1 column and place ball in 1st spot. AND nothing happens! So then I tried placing balls to the right of the gear in those same spots but rotated once to the right. And that worked! Thus, its gear ball gear ball in first row of gears. 2nd row is ball at the left of last gear. Skip row 3. Row 4 has balls at right of gear 1 and gear 4. Last ball is right of gear 4 in last row.
