The Mystery of Blackthorn Castle 2

Blackthorn Castle 2 is the latest point-and-click adventure game from Syntaxity. It’s the sequel to The Mystery of Blackthorn Castle and has you traveling back in time to a 14th century castle to break the dark wizard’s spells and find a mysterious artifact. It can be tricky at times, so this walkthrough guide should help you if you get stuck on any puzzles. Feel free to ask for extra help in the comments section.

61. Go back to Scene 17 and take the right path to Scene 18. Enter the church at Scene 19. Place all the stained glass pieces inside the frame and then take the brass object from inside.

62. Go right to Scene 20 and place the metal gear and brass gear down on the stage. Rotate each piece so they all line up like in this image:

63. Go down to Scene 21. Look at the box on the table. Swap the tiles around to form an image of a flower. Then take the gold pendant piece from inside to complete the gold pendant. Take a look at it for a clue.

64. Go back to Scene 59. Use the clue on the metal carving to solve the puzzle to the left of the door. To be honest, the clue doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to me. I suppose the top and bottom rows have you starting from the left and going right, but the middle row has you starting from the right and going left? It’s not a great clue. But it should look like the image below in the end. Then press the button to drop a chain down in Scene 54.

65. Go back to Scene 54. Pull on the chain to reveal a a clue. Look at it and notice the lines are too faint. Use the chalk on it a few times and then you’ll take a photo of the clue.

66. Go back to Scene 63. Look at the door to the left and use the clue on the gold pendant to solve the puzzle. It’s showing you the direction to flip all the switches. So it goes Left, Left, Right, Left, Right, Right.

67. This is another puzzle with a weird clue. Take out the photo of the clue you found in Scene 54. Any symbols that are right next to each other at some point in that clue also need to be next to each other in the puzzle. Swap the tiles around to match my photo:

68. Head through the door to Scene 70. You’ll unlock a new fast travel location. Pick up the brass gear.

69. Go down the bottom path to Scene 71 and zoom in on the pedestal. Take the small carved tile and place the two brass objects down with the others. Look at the photo you got in Scene 66 to figure out how to solve the puzzle. Basically, just press the same symbols in the order shown. A new path will open up.

70. Head down the ladder to Scene 72 and place the torch in the holder to light up the room. We’re missing something, so we’ll have to come back to this puzzle.

71. Go back to Scene 70 or 71 and then left to Scene 74. Try to cross the bridge and a troll stops you! He asks you to find him his pet if you want to pass.

72. Go back to Scene 59 and place the small carved tile on the door with the rest. Rotate the tiles so all the lines match up correctly. Then go through to Scene 62.

73. Zoom in on the table with the gems in the middle of the room. Press the big button to change the scene on the mirror. Tap the mirror to travel to Scene 77.

74. Go left to Scene 78. Tap on the puzzle and rotate the rings so all the dots match up. It will open up, but we’re missing the correct rune stone.

75. Go left to Scene 79 and grab the bucket. Then zoom in on the lock on the door. Rotate the rings so all three holes line up and the mechanism can slide in.
