The Mystery of Blackthorn Castle 2

Blackthorn Castle 2 is the latest point-and-click adventure game from Syntaxity. It’s the sequel to The Mystery of Blackthorn Castle and has you traveling back in time to a 14th century castle to break the dark wizard’s spells and find a mysterious artifact. It can be tricky at times, so this walkthrough guide should help you if you get stuck on any puzzles. Feel free to ask for extra help in the comments section.

46. Go up the stairs to Scene 49 and take the brass gear.
47. Go back to Scene 17 and use the shears to clear all the vines on the left. Then head through to Scene 39.
48. Notice this path looks like the map drawn on the parchment. Use the shovel to dig where the X is. Then pull out the crate and use the crowbar to open it. Take the old bomb from inside.
49. Head along the right path and grab the gold pendant and the stained glass piece. There’s a barrier blocking our way, so go back to Scene 39.
50. Head along the left path to Scene 40. Use the shovel to dig up the large crystal and then grab it. Also, take a photo of the clue on the tree branch.
51. Go back to Scene 65. Use the photo you just took at Scene 40 to solve the puzzle on the metal door. Basically, just turn the screws so the lines match the three shapes on the tree. Just imagine the rest of the space filled in.
52. Go through to Scene 66. Zoom in on the loose stones in the wall and use the crowbar to remove them. You’ll find a new clue and take a photo of it.
53. Go all the way back to Scene 7. Place the old bomb by the rocks blocking your path. Then use the torch to light it and head to Scene 8.
54. Continue right to Scene 9. Place the torch on the wall to light up the room. Open the lockers and grab the metal carving, brass key, and two metal gears. Look at the carving in your bag.
55. Look at the machine to the right. Use the flint to light the coals. We’re still missing something so we’ll have to come back later.
56. Go back to Scene 7 and place the metal gear in the slot on the locked chest. Then rotate it so the arrows match up. Take the magnet and long gaff hook from inside.
57. Go back to Scene 49 and use the large gaff hook to reach the hanging sack. Open it and take the flute and stained glass piece from inside.
58. Go back to Scene 61 and use the key to unlock the small door. Grab the parchment and glass piece from inside. Look at the parchment for a clue.
59. Go back to Scene 68 and use the parchment you just found to solve the puzzle behind the painting. It should look like this. Then take the chalk, parchment, and piece of stained glass. Look at the parchment.
60. Go back to Scene 69 and use the magnet with the metal grate to get the brass object.

The flute doesn’t work after several tries

The tower and Roman Numerals… Place balls at 2,4,5 in the 2nd to last column. In the 2nd column, place balls at 1,4; then move ove 1 column and place ball in 1st spot. AND nothing happens! So then I tried placing balls to the right of the gear in those same spots but rotated once to the right. And that worked! Thus, its gear ball gear ball in first row of gears. 2nd row is ball at the left of last gear. Skip row 3. Row 4 has balls at right of gear 1 and gear 4. Last ball is right of gear 4 in last row.
The rest of the walkthrough is still missing two years later, will it be added at some point?
