By: Haiku Games

Haiku Games is back with a new Adventure Escape game, called Legend of the Time Stones. It’s a sequel to Legend of the Sacred Stones. You play as Aila, who needs to travel through the past, present and future to stop an evil Sorcerer. You’ll explore elaborate new temples and battle gods from faraway lands as Aila discovers the hidden truth behind the Sorcerer’s motivation. This walkthrough guide should help you if you get stuck on any of the puzzles. Feel free to ask for extra help in the comments section.

Chapter 1:

You can watch my video for Chapter 1 or continue below for my step-by-step guide:

1. You’re on Tempus Island with Siegfried and Ollie. Ollie doesn’t know you killed his father, so he still likes you. There’s a green light coming from one of the temples, so Aila sets off to examine it. Once at the Island of Time, open the chest in the boat to discover Ollie stowed away inside. Then take the shovel from it. Also, grab the sword from the sand and open the skeleton’s bag to get a note and a green stone key. Read the note.

2. Use the shovel to dig up the box on the left and use the sword to cut the bush on the right, revealing a pink stone key. Grab it.

3. Let’s figure out how to open the box. The clues are on the note we found. Look at the highlighted words:

“here on the Island of Time”
“Island of Stars to the west”
“Island in the Sky to the east”

So it’s telling you that the left shape (west) is a star, the right shape (east) is a cloud, and the middle shape (here) is an hourglass.

Then take the orange stone key from inside.

4. Examine the circle on the ground. Tap the center to see that it can work with the Sacred Stones, but it won’t work at the moment. Insert all three keys in the slots. It starts glowing green and unlocks a puzzle. Tap on it and let’s solve it.

5. For the Circles Puzzle, just rotate all the rings so that the green light can pass through and illuminate all the gems. Notice how rotating the outer ring of a color also rotates any inner rings of the same color.

6. Now the green laser unlocks another Circles puzzle. It’s the same idea but a bit more complex.

7. Now we can enter the Temple of Time! Pick up the green gem.

8. Place the green gem in the slot to create a staircase. Then grab the stone tablet.

9. Insert the stone tablet on the wall with the rest of it, above the green stone. Tap on the inscription to read it:

“The center of the world, where the north star glows,
The sands of time, how different they flow.”
“Backwards and forwards, like the dragons below,
Who swam in our oceans, a lifetime ago.”

10. Now let’s use the tablet to unlock the chest. It’s a lot simpler than it seems. Just count up how many times you see the Roman numerals I II III IV and that’s the answer. So you get:

I = 9
II = 8
III = 3
IV = 4

Enter 9834 (or IX VIII III IV) into the locked chest to unlock it. Take the golden orb from inside.

11. Insert the golden orb into the slot next to the locked door to open it. Then head through to the next room.

12. Tap on the inscription below the middle head to see that it’s Chronos. Then, open the bag and take the chisel. Also, read the note inside that mentions Chronos, the God of Time, as well as the Time Stones.

13. Use the chisel to break the cracked stone and then grab the dragon spike.

14. Leave the room and use the chisel to break another stone and get a second dragon spike.

15. Place both spikes in the dragon’s tail. Then use them as steps to climb up to the cracked wall. Use the chisel to break through it. Take the statue head and then pull the lever to make all the sandfalls flow in reverse.

16. Go back to the other room and place the statue head on the left statue to get the scepter. Then use the scepter to push the right statue over a bit. It will hold the door open and you can also get the Taurus figurine.

17. Go back to the first room and take the golden orb back.

18. Place the golden orb in the left slot on the floor. If the sandfalls are flowing upwards, the orb will get pulled up into the slot above it. It triggers something in the other room.

19. Check the other room. A door behind the sandfall opened! Take the dragon key from the box and notice that the lever turns half the round door green, but it doesn’t stay put.

20. Use the dragon key to open the chest and get a second golden orb.

21. Go back to the dragon room and place the second orb orb in the right slot on the floor so it moves into the slot above.

22. Go back to the second room. Grab the Sirius figurine from the box. Now you have access to both levers, so you can pull them at the same time and open the round door.

23. Look at all three inscriptions below each god head and then examine the puzzle behind the door. For the Gods Lock puzzle, rotate the discs to match them to the inscriptions you saw.

24. Use the scepter to get the Chronos figurine.

25. Go back to the dragon room. Pull the lever to reverse the sandfalls again. The orbs will automatically fall into the holes below, causing a board game to rise up. Place all three figurines down on the board.

26. Now to solve the Colored Tiles Puzzle. We need to get all three figurines to the correct colored tiles. You can only move the green one and the other two will follow.

27. The dragon’s mouth opens up, revealing a staircase. Head up.

28. Tap on the Sorcerer to talk to him. Then, tap on the star symbol on Chronos so you can use the Sacred Stones on it. You can choose any color, because none of them will work.

29. Instead of attacking Chronos, use the Sacred Stones on the Sorcerer. Choose the stone that matches his shield color. I included an example below. If you choose the wrong one, Chronos will attack you. You need to get it right three times to win. After that, he’ll speed up and you just need to tap all the stones at once to beat him. Then watch the end of the chapter.

And that’s the end of Chapter 1! Click here to continue to Chapter 2 or choose a chapter below.

    Impressed how quickly you did this from when it came out!

    How do you get three matches in a row when the Sacred Stones keep dropping? The pattern is blue, white, yellow then red so it’s easy to predict what will come next. But after the correct choice, the holder drops. How do I keep the Sacred Stones up so I can get three in a row?

      After you pick the correct Stone, you see the Sorcerer getting hit by you, and then his shield recovers and shows a colour, and you can choose again. After 3 rounds, the shield changes colours too fast, so you have to use all of the Stones at once.

      Example: If the Sorcerer’s shield is red, you quickly tap the red Stone on the Locket, before the shield changes its colour. You never have to put in a sequence of any kind. Just 1 colour at a time (except for the final where you have to use all of them at once)

      I hope I have cleared things up. If your game doesn’t behave like described above, this part is indeed glitched out.

    I’d like to know the same thing. I was able to pop the bubble once, but since then it just doesn’t work at all. It’s not like it’s difficult to match the colors & click the right button on time in the first round. It seems glitchy

    I have the same problem, I can’t burst the bubble with the matching colored stones either. Must be some sort of bug. Really annoying, but I don’t know how to submit a report to Haiku Games, they make it pretty tough.
