Gameplay 4.5/5
Closed Room is an escape game, consisting of the usual room escape controls. You tap on objects around you, picking up some and interacting with others. The goal is to use your surroundings and your wits to solve puzzles and eventually escape the room.

If you’re familiar with “Ellie,” you may be expecting some near-impossible challenges in this game. But don’t fret, Closed Room is much more straightforward, and the items you find offer tips on how to use them. There are quite a lot of clues to find here, and this game will last you considerable longer than most free games in the app store. The controls are also very intuitive and responsive, which is not often the case with free room escape games.

Like “Ellie,” the room is split into only two screens. But don’t let the minimalist appearance fool you. There are quite a lot of items and clues hidden throughout. Just about everything you interact with has a purpose. Also, some items have several different uses, a feature often overlooked in many free room escape games. All this makes the game very satisfying to play through.

I rather like the little red laser dot (and sound) that appears every time you tap on something and there’s nothing there. It lets you know that your tap registered. With so many other room escape games, it’s ambiguous whether your tap registered or not, which can lead to much frustrated hyper-tapping.

I did have a couple of gripes with the game. One puzzle has several parts to it and they all need to be completed in one sitting, because the game won’t save your progress for it. This can be frustrating, as you can’t take a break and come back to finish it later. So make sure you start it when you have plenty of time to spend on it. I also had to redo the entire puzzle because the the “Start” and “Continue” buttons are right on top of each other. Instead of asking me if I’m sure I want to start a new game, it just did so anyway. So be extra careful when you return to the game so you don’t make the same mistake I did. And one last thing — there’s a clue in Closed Room 2 that says the exact opposite of what you actually need to do. That’s a pretty big mistake, but you shouldn’t scrap the game over this. If you get past these few small hurdles, the game offers quality escape fun for free!

Story 2/5
It might be lost in translation, but I didn’t see much story here. I’m not even sure why I walked into this room that had a sign on it’s front saying “Closed Room.” Perhaps some sort of explanation would help me understand why I’m here and need to escape. The end did make me smile a bit, though.
In any case, what this game lacks in story, it more than makes up for in puzzles.

Graphics 3/5
The 2D graphics are very basic, but they get the job done. If you were looking for something on par with “Ellie,” you’ll be disappointed. But the graphics are clear, and I never had any problem understanding what I was looking at.

20111029-122541.jpg

Audio 2/5
Again, if you were looking for a soundtrack as immersive as Ellie’s, you won’t find it here. In fact, there’s no music at all in Closed Room.
The sound effects are minimal, but they get the job done. I especially appreciate the little noise you here every time you tap on something.

Replay Value 2/5
Once you escape the room, there isn’t really much of a reason to play again, unless perhaps to practice the “Tap to Fill” game. But this app does include both Closed Room 1 and 2, so there’s plenty of content here.

Conclusion 4/5
These guys are putting bored.com and IDAC to shame with their high-quality free room escape games. I thoroughly enjoyed playing Closed Room. Clues and items were revealed at just the right pace to keep it from getting too frustrating or too easy. It’s perfectly paced.

(P.S. If you’re stuck on the last puzzle of Closed Room 2, try doing the opposite of what the clue tells you. Yeah, not cool. But the rest of it made sense.)

If you’re stuck and need a hint, feel free to ask here and I’ll help you out.

    1. sd

I am stuck at room 2, how to solve those equations, 5+13=6… to get abcd?

      1. AppUnwrapper

Think about time (ie: goes to to 24:00).
Let me know if you need more than that.

        1. tamar

          my clock says 14+25-18

    2. Maya

How do you find the lemon?

      1. AppUnwrapper

If I remember correctly, I think it’s in the white box.

        1. Maya

How do you open the white box. 🙁

          1. Maya

Ooo nevermind I did it! Thanks!

    3. Ilys

How do you punch in the code to unlock the drawer? I already put the stick in the broken switch but how do I put the code in? Do I fill the bars all the way ?

      1. AppUnwrapper

When you shake the pigeon painting a few times, a piece of paper falls out with letters on it. That shows you which letters you need to use for the puzzle, but they might be a bit out of order.

        1. emma

I got the piece of paper and it said fgec but i couldn’t unlock it even though i changed the order around a bit. Any ideas?

    4. Josie Medrano

How do i solve the 7th puzzle in the picture frame in the first room?????

      1. Haleigh

I can’t do the poster puzzle PLZ PLZ PLZ help me

    5. Mr paki

How to do the poster puzzle I can’t do the chain one

    6. Mr paki

Why can’t anyone help me on the seventh puzzle! If any one does help me I would be very grateful

    7. Cookie

Theres no second plug under the desk after i complete the puzzle…

  2. Tony Lee

    Hi.

I have an issue. I had to restart the game like you did and now I cant get the bottom right drawer open.

I did the same thing as before and its not working.

    I put the stick in and do A G B C.

Any idea why its not working.

    1. AppUnwrapper

Hi, Mine actually had a different code than that. Do you have he piece of papers with the letters on it? I had to scramble them a bit for it to work, rather than using that exact order. Let me know if that helps!

  3. lee

thanks for the above tip. Now, how do i deactivate the magnet?

    1. AppUnwrapper

The picture frame above the desk is a series of puzzles. You need to turn the whole shape yellow. There are seven puzzles, and you have to do them all in one sitting. If you stop it the middle, it will restart from the beginning.

  4. Tony Lee

Being a old school fan of puzzle game and adventure game, Im not sure if I liked this one.

I still dint understand the use for breaking the “password” for the computer. Maybe you can tell me what was the use for the diary.

I have only played few escape de room game but I dont like when game doesnt make sense. Like the puzzle frame controling a magnet. Or again the diary.

Also the clock thing isnt really a challenge since anyone with few second to spare can find it by starting with 0h00 and check everything. Same for the computer password etc.

    1. AppUnwrapper

Actually, what I liked about it was that everything had a use in the end (and some more than one use).

      ****SPOILER****

First, the picture under the desk shows you the chain of the yellow puzzle, so you know that will loosen the magnet.

As for the clock, yes you can try every possible time. But if you want to do it by the clues…
      1. Use the three letters you found on the wall to unlock the diary on the computer
      2. Look at the “clock=” code beneath the desk.
      3. Compare those two with the three sets of numbers you found in the room (the scrap of paper in the desk, the pidgeon picture, and the postcard in the trash). Work it out and you should get the correct time.

      ****END SPOILER****

Try it again, and you’ll see there is logic to it.

      1. tamar

i still do not get the clues for the diary and the clock. please reexplain it. the game is fun and frustrating at the same time.

        1. AppUnwrapper

Ok, if you have the diary open, each page will have a number on it (like 14, 18 or 25). Each of these represents either the pigeon painting, the letter in the drawer, or the postcard in the wastebasket. There’s a number on each of these. Look under the desk and there’s an equation (mine says “Clock = 14 + 25 – 18.
So look at the three items and swap out those numbers with the ones in the equation. Then do the math and you get the time!

          1. tamar

with my diary it is 9 white square and a folder with 3 red bags with locks on it….. now what

          2. tamar

yes but how do i get it to work with the computer do i turn the lights off. i could not click on the computer then

            1. AppUnwrapper

You see the x on the wall above the couch? Turn the lights off and use the black orb on the x. What you see then will be the key to opening the diary.

          3. tamar

i just did something and did not get to see it and said teh first lock has has been something. was i suppose to see something

          4. tamar

i see the lcu but how do i unlock the three red boxes. i have one but don’t know what i did, and it is only white boxes and i click on the black orb. now what do i click on the white boxes

            1. AppUnwrapper

Spell out those three letters with those boxes. For instance, the L would be

              ΓÇó
              ΓÇó
              ΓÇó ΓÇó ΓÇó

          5. TAMAR

I finally got what to do and it did not work. 820+45-320=525 i put that on the clock and it did not work..UGHHHHH 🙁

            1. AppUnwrapper

All I can say is double-check the numbers and make sure you calculated everything correctly. I’ve played through the game several times, with different numbers, and it’s always worked. If you haven’t done so yet, get out a pen, paper and calculator 😉

      2. tamar

thank you. how do i do the clock now;)

          1. tamar

no i did the diary, but what do you mean by the first hand

            1. AppUnwrapper

Oh whoops, wrong game lol. Sorry about that — there are clocks in just about every room escape game 😉

Backtrack a little through our comments. I described how to work out the clock code.

          2. TAMAR

I THINK I AM JUST SLOW. I HAVE ALL THE NUMBERS BUT DON’T GET HOW TO PLUG THEM INTO THE EQUATION UNDER THE DESK. THIS IS THE ONE THING THAT IS DRIVING ME CRAZY

            1. AppUnwrapper

Just swap out the numbers in the equation for the numbers on those items. Pretend that 14, 18, and 25 are x, y and z, and you need to figure out what they each stand for.

          3. TAMAR

yeaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! IT WORKED THANK YOU. NEXT

          4. TAMAR

HOW DO I GET MORE GAMES LIKE THIS I HAVE MOBAI ROOM BUT IT SEEMS MORE DIFFICULT AND LESS FUN. I FOUND SOME ITEMS BUT EHN YOU CLICK ON THEM YOU CANNOT USE THEM THEY ONLY HIGHLIGHT

            1. AppUnwrapper

IDAC has a few free games available, and I have walkthroughs for all of them. They also have an app called AppNavi that lets you download more free room escape games. Also, check out Ellie – Help me out…please. If you want even higher quality and are willing to pay a bit, the Antrim Escape series is great. Roombreak is also nice, but much harder — there is a timer for each room and there are some mini games involved.

Browse through my blog a bit ;). I have reviews and/or walkthroughs for most of these games.

          5. TAMAR

i would really like to find closed room 2 for iphone or pc is that possible

            1. AppUnwrapper

It’s in the same app ;). Just go back to the main menu and you’ll see an option to play Closed Room 2.

          6. tamar

i deleted it do i have to reinstall in on my phone play it again and then be able to get it?

  5. Siobhan

Umm how do I get the clock to work I have the 2 cords in and when I touch them one says cu the other zn or something like that. is there something I need to do cause it still won’t let me change the time on the clock

    1. AppUnwrapper

You’re still missing an item. Have you turned the computer on yet?

      1. Siobhan

Sorry about posting twice I have the comp on and I can read all 3 diary entries

        1. Siobhan

I went back to the comp and found what I needed thanks 🙂

          1. Sammi

            but what do you do…?

  6. Siobhan

How do I get the clock to work the plugs are in but now what

    1. SJ

Room 1:There’s a razor blade in the disk tray of the computer. Cut the lemon with it and stick the plugs in for power.

      1. Maya

I have the lemon and the razor blade but I don’t know how to cut the lemon with the blade.

        1. AppUnwrapper

Look for something to put the lemon into first 🙂

  7. SJ

    Closed room 2.
    Getting on my wick now.
I like a challenge but can’t waste my entire life tapping on some stupid game.

I don’t know what the White box does.
I don’t know what the green coin picture does.
I can’t figure out the code for the drawer.
Or what to do with the battery.

ATeam, whilst ive enjoyed reading your reviews, and I’m looking in to some of your suggestions, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE write a damn walkthrough for these games. Just a rough outline? Anything?

    1. AppUnwrapper

      Hi,
Try seeing if you could find a way to get the battery into the white box.
And look around for more clues. There’s one that tells you what to do with the coins (sort of).

      1. AppLover

Hey can u at least give me a hint as to where the battery is 4 the white box or whatever u use 2 make it work please

      2. tamar

how do i get the battery out of the pc to put it in the white box

    2. TAMAR

HOW DO I GET CLOSED ROOM 2 WHEN I FINISHED CLOSED ROOM IT TOOK ME OUT AND THE STICK GREW AND IT SAID THE END. I WOULD LIKE MORE GAMES LIKE THIS WHAT DO I TYPE IN MY IPHONE

  8. Maureen

I can’t figure out the computer, it on but how do I unlock the files? Also I have cords and lemon for clock but now I’m stuck.

    Thanks for your help.

    1. AppUnwrapper

For the computer, use the letters you found on the wall 🙂

      1. tamar

i try typing and it does not work do i use the white boxes where it say diary

          1. tamar

i dont know how/ i just have a folder with 3 red bags with key holes and 9 white boxes when i click on them they turn grey

            1. AppUnwrapper

You’re missing a clue that you get from using the black orb. Try turning out the lights and looking around the room.

          2. tamar

i saw the lcu letters but how do i use the white squares and the locks. i did something just now.. don’t know what and unlocked on diary what did i do

            1. AppUnwrapper

Spell out each of those letters with the white squares.

  9. Maureen

Ahhh I don’t remember letters on the wall. I went back and looked I don’t see letters on the wall.

  10. Maureen

Am I missing a step somewhere?

  11. Maureen

I got it!! Finished the game. Thanks!

    1. AppUnwrapper

No problem! Don’t forget about the second room 😉

  12. asdfghjkl

idont get the folder 1 in the computer. and how do you unlock the drawer. (closed room 2)

  13. Siobhan

Ok second room the is killing me
It says dacb is the order
And then the folder one gives equations and the numbers just don’t work on the drawer so please can you give me the code

    1. AppUnwrapper

Just answered the same question above 😉 See if that helps.

  14. Auryn

Okay I can’t get the drawer open. I know the code, I put the stick in…what am I missing? Is the code backwards or Greek or something?

    1. Auryn

Never mind. Rearrange the letters, just because. Weird.

      1. diane

one of the buttons on the drawer combination doesn’t work….do I just use 3 of the 4 letters as the code?

  15. SJ

Apologies when I asked ateam for a walkthrough, I meant to address it to app unwrapper (I took your recommendation and tried atrim escape 2 btw. Drove me even pottier than this game. Liked it those once I got past the the lol).

So spoilers here for the first folder in the second room
    >
    >
    >
    >
    >
    >
As i understand it, the first column is just an example, and is based on the 24 hour clock. Eg 5pm + 13pm (1pm)= 6pm.

So now you should be able to work out the digits for the DACB letters you found in the glass of water.

My French isn’t good, but I’m reading the message in the plant as the couple met under the moon, separated under the stars and will meet under the sun.

So this must be the coins with pictures on and the positions of the sliding buttons on the picture?

I have the sun and the moon coin (and water and screwdriver), I’m going to hazard a guess the star coin is in the White box.

I’ve put the battery in the White box and got a N (north) button. Can’t figure out what to do next. Pushing the buttons on the box does nothing.

Maybe something to do with the Australia/us/Russia flags.

Since you’re clearly not going to just tell me appunwrapper, could I have a hint please. A big one please :))

    Ta everso.

    1. AppUnwrapper

You’re on the right path with the flags. Just look around for other items/clues you haven’t used yet, that could be related. ;). And think how “N” can fit in.

  16. SJ

*Liked it though, once I got past the rage lol)

    Bloody predictive!!

    1. AppUnwrapper

      Lol. Did you finish?

Btw, as far as Antrim Escape goes, I found the first one the easiest, then the third, and the second is, IMO, the hardest of the three. If you only tried #2, you’re missing out! It’s one of the few room escape series I’m not afraid to spend money on, because I know it will be worth it!

  17. asdfghjkl

in foler 1, it says that ‘5-8=C’ how do you get that? will it be 3 or what

    1. AppUnwrapper

That one threw me for a bit, too. Again, think about there being 24 hrs in a day.

  18. DawniJeann

I am stuck on the drafted clock:

    Clock code: 14 + 25 – 18 (= 21)
    Pigeon painting: 810
Paper in desk drawer : 140

I have tried subtracting 8 hours, 10 minutes, 1 hour & 40 minutes from 21:00. Not sure what else to try???

    o.O

    1. AppUnwrapper

Did you unlock the diary on the computer screen? That’s the missing link (also, don’t forget about the trash can).

      1. DawniJeann

        Yeah, the diary had:

stuff buying a painting (assume that is the pigeon painting)

seeing a friend and they will call each other

then the last was about eating birthday cake (photo of strawberry cake in trash can with 35 written on it)

        1. AppUnwrapper

Ok, so now use that with the clock code. The diary should have a number on each page so you know where to plug them into the equation.

Keep in mind, my game had different numbers. So not everyone will get the same answer in the end. But you should have everything you need there to solve it.

          1. DawniJeann

Thank you. I still did not see the logic in it, but did get the correct time by incrementing it.

On to room 2 now 🙂

      2. tamar

dont get how to plug all the different numbers in …HELP!!!!

  19. SJ

Finished! By completely randomly tapping the buttons on the White box, then reversing the instructions on the paper in the plant.
Very annoying game…made me angry!!! I’m off now to download another one 😀

    PLEASE WRITE A WALKTHROUGH!!!

    1. AppUnwrapper

Lol well there is logic to that puzzle! You need to look at the flags. The arrow above them shows the order they go in. Then look at the map and find those countries on it. Then enter them in the right order on the white box (ie. North, East, West South).

      1. SJ

I thought it would be something like that, but I’m pretty bad with maps and wasn’t sure which one Australia was lol.

I downloaded antrim 1 and 3. 1 was strange as I finished it in a few minutes! Considering how bad I am at these games and my frustration gets the better of me. I’m sure it was just a fluke.
Tried atmosphere but couldn’t deal with the wobbly controls, sat there waving my iPad over my head and going crossed eyed for a bit 🙂

        Thanks for the tips.

        PLEASE WRITE SOME WALKTHROUGHS!!

        1. SJ

          *atmosFEAR

Predictive makes me angry too. I think I may have ‘issues’
          lol

          1. AppUnwrapper

Lol you just have to give in and let yourself get lost in Atmosfear. Might want to pull your shades down so your neighbors don’t think you’re crazy 😉

        2. AppUnwrapper

Lol glad you figured it out!

Did you also find the Antrim Escape alternate ending?

As for the walkthroughs… I’ll think about it 😉

          1. SJ

Oh come on. Look at all these poor little list lambs that have found their way here! Don’t you feel even a bit sorry for them!!

            WRITE A WALKTHROUGH LOL LOL

      2. prkr

When I first saw the map and folder 2 I thought I’d have it all done in a minute. But putting in the directions didn’t work for me…I’m assuming I start from Japan and go south following the arrow/flags, but a whole lot of nothing has worked =[ Any help, please?

        1. AppUnwrapper

Japan is not part of that puzzle. Honestly, I don’t know why the “I’m here!” was even there. Just use the three flags and you’re good.

          1. prkr

Yeah, tried that earlier and still didn’t quite work for me. It’s also getting me crazy because sometimes the dialog doesn’t pop up after tapping a button and I’m not sure if I hit it or not or how many buttons I have to press at all.

This clue must need some part of my brain I never use cause it’s just going over my head!

          2. tamar

don’t know what to do with the flags. click on the map and the flags nothing happens

            1. AppUnwrapper

The flags are clues for the white box puzzle. Did you get it working yet?

  20. SJ

    @ appunwrapper
Is it just the escape games you are The Don of? I’m really getting into the puzzle/hidden item games on the iPad.
My first one was Buckingham palace which was much better than id expected.
Since then I’ve tried lots of demos and REALLY enjoyed the full versions of Fairings Point and Dreamland. Liked the mix of hidden and mini games.
Wondered if they were your thing or not, I’m after a recommendation which to try next. (bought Salem witch trials…hated it!).
    Any recommendations appreciated.

    PLEASE WRITE WALKTHROUGHS 😀 😀 😀

    1. AppUnwrapper

I play plenty of other games in other genres, not just escape games. I’ll be adding reviews for others soon.

As for hidden object games, I’ve tried a few but never really could get into them. Just not my thing. I’m sure there probably are a few out there that I might like, but I haven’t been searching all that hard to find them 😉

  21. Janifer

Can’t move the second button to optn the drawer. How to put the stick in it?

    1. AppUnwrapper

It’s a little tricky. You need to get it into the slot, not where the button is. Tap around, and try closing down the game for a bit to see if that helps.

      1. Janifer

        Thanks… 🙂

  22. Edwart

Help…. how to turn on the computer ? ..

Oh oh. Just seen a new one in the app store “speed escape:chamber”.

Finished Antrim last night. It was hard as I’m on the iPad and the graphics were too blurry to be accurate. That’s what I told myself anyway, as I followed someone’s WALKTHROUGH word for word.

My predictive is now putting WALKTHROUGH into caps all by itself lmao!!

Thank you again for taking the time to give us hints. I’ll no doubt be back in about five minutes with a sore finger and a temper tantrum from speed escape.

    Catch you soon.
    SarahJane

PS Antrim 3….does anyone else think it’s really creepy that his Grandma is dressed in a sexy maids outfit and is freely discussing her rampant relationship with the castle owner with her own grandson!! Yeurk lol

    1. AppUnwrapper

Saw that in the store before, but couldn’t tell if it was any good. I see they have a lite version now. With fake reviews, so not too hopeful. But will check it out!

Lol why do you want walkthroughs so badly if you already got out? But I’ll think about it 😉

    2. AppUnwrapper

Just wrote a walkthrough for “An Uninspired Man.” Happy? 😉

  24. Kelly

Where’s the battery for the computer???

  25. liz

i put the stick in the broken slot.. not sure what to do with the other buttons? My paper says EGCA. i tried using that but it didnt do anything?

    1. AppUnwrapper

Try scrambling the letters. Not sure why, but the order isn’t what’s on the paper.

      1. unknow12

        i think liz meant bgca

    2. liz

hold on, i jst put the battery in the computer, how do i figure out the password?
      thanks! xoxo.

      1. AppUnwrapper

To unlock the diary, use the three letters you found earlier.

        1. liz

Im so confused, I unlocked the computer and read the diary but i have no idea what to do next.

          1. liz

yes, im trying to figure out the time to put in, i tried 21:00 but yeah, that doesnt work. the thingy says clock= 14+25-18.. so I did 830(pigeon thing) – 540 (friend’s number) – 55(cake) but it didnt work.. so

            1. AppUnwrapper

Where did you get 2100 from?

From the numbers you gave me (mine were different), I got 13:15. Did you try that?

  26. Yuye

Please please help me In room2 i just don’t know how to push the buttons on the box. Of cours i read the answer up there still i don’t get it Could you write about that again? And my language is not english, so it is difiicult to write RIGHT english…please understand that!!

    1. AppUnwrapper

Ok, first look at the three flags on the computer. See the arrow above them? That’s the order in which the buttons will go. Now, if you don’t know which countries the flags belong to, Google it :). Once you know the three countries, look at the map (or any map) and locate them. The buttons on the white box represent North East West South. That should be enough to get you through it, but let me know if you need any more help 🙂

      1. Yuye

Thanks a lot:) i finally finished game!! The end is kind of funny^^ thnaks again^0^

  27. bc

how do you unlock the computer?? so confusing!

    1. bc

i found the x on the wall but what else?

      1. AppUnwrapper

Close the lights and look around for something you didn’t see with the lights on.

        1. bc

i do not understand what the black sphere is for

  28. bc

okay….tcu. but i don’t understand what the nine blocks are there for and how the letters connect with them.

  29. bc

i tried using the blocks to for the letters t, c, and u but nothing happened. also, what are the locks adjacent to the boxes for? im so bad at this ):

    1. AppUnwrapper

Hmm it should work. Each letter unlocks a different lock. I had different letters — the numbers and letters seem to change for each game.

  30. bc

oh never mind i got the the computer to unlock now. thank you!

  31. bc

okay….back again. i can’t figure out the clock. the pigeon number was 810, phone number was 140, and cake was 35

      1. bc

haha i just went through every possible time. onto room 2. thank you so much!

  32. chris

room 2: i found all the coins but what connection do they have with the thing with the sliders above the couch?

    1. AppUnwrapper

When you find the clue in the plant, do the opposite of the English translation.

  33. chris

okay so it says 2 meet under the moon, 2 part under the star, and two meet under the sun. so you said opposite and i did sun, star, moon. still doesnt work. do the sliders do something?

    1. AppUnwrapper

Keep the coins in the order that it says. The sliders represent the people. Those should be opposite of what it says.

  34. chris

    nice ending, thank you!

  35. Will

Where do I put the coins in room 2? I understand what the note says under the flower plant, but still have no clue what to do with the coins. I tried the painting, but all it says is, “It is a strange picture.” It won’t let me do anything with it. Please help!

    1. Will

Forget it, I found the switch underneath the flower hanging on the wall. I was able to figure out the rest from there!

  36. Zada

Many thanks for making the effort to describe the terminology for the newcomers!

  37. Brooke

So my numbers are as follows:
    Painting says 815
    Paper from friend says 240
    Paper in trash says 40

So it should be 815+240-40 which is 1015

I put that into the clock and nothing. Ideas?

    1. AppUnwrapper

Double check that you got the order right. Take another look at the equation under the desk and see if you put the numbers in the right places.

      1. Brooke

Of course. Something so simple and I wasn’t paying attention to my equation. Thanks!

  38. ugg mugger

I such as this article extremely much, wish you can compose added about this.

  39. Tb

How do you figure out the last puzzlee on the wall in room 1 … The one that looks like chains

    1. AppUnwrapper

It’s a tough one. I completed it a few times, but still find it challenging! Try starting from both ends and meeting in the middle. The top should be the last few to turn yellow.

  40. Rai

I dont get the folder one in game two. I tried 8135. 24 hour thingnot getting. Plz helppp

    1. AppUnwrapper

If it says 5-8, change it to 17-8 (ie. 17:00 is the same as 5:00). Use the same logic for the other numbers.

  41. unknown

i need a walkthrough for the last puzzle “the chain” i can get down to one not colored in 😮 HeLp

    1. AppUnwrapper

Try starting from both ends and meeting in the middle. You need to get everything yellow except for the top three pieces, so that when you tap the big piece at the top, the last three will fill in. It’s tough, but keep working at it 🙂

  42. tamar

okay i finally got room 2 but i cannot figure out what the four numbers are for i opened the diaryand see teh dcab is for folder 2 but HUHHH and then i did the picture on the wall and don’t get the box

    1. AppUnwrapper

For the DCAB part, look at all the numbers on the screen and think about the 24 hours in a day. (ie. 13 = 1)

  43. Liz

How do i turn on the computer.?

  44. unknow12

how do i change the clock?

      1. unknow12

never mine i ca change it

        1. unknow12

but i try all the combinations there are but i got nothing?

  45. unknow12

never mind on room 2 now

  46. k

Ok, I know you said with the chain puzzle to meet in the middle but I seriously can not figure it out. Have tried a ton of different combinations just to get the chain to all be yellow and get that stupid cord! Please help!!!

    1. AppUnwrapper

It’s pretty challenging and I had trouble with it even after clearing it several times. You need to get all but the top three pieces yellow, so when you tap on the piece at the very top, all three will fill in.

  47. Sammi

What do you do after you put the plugs in the clock?

  48. Lorane

How do i change the clock? i got the battery and unlock the computer and everything but i dont know how to do that. or open the white box. Please help?

    1. AppUnwrapper

Compare what you find on the computer with the equation under the desk and the three items in the room that have numbers on them.

      1. Lorane

i tried that.. the clock thingy was 14+25-18.. i got 21. but then the computer diary thing is hard and i don’t see what it has to do with anything other than the cake and the pigeon painting

        1. AppUnwrapper

The cake, pigeon painting and friend’s number.

      2. Marney D.

ok i tried to open the box but i dont know?

        1. Marney D.

oh my gosh I GOT IT yaaay

  49. Nichole

i am trying to figure out the north east south west on the white box in room 2, i know it is the country’s flags, but i put the order in on the map and the box is not opening…..if it doesn’t say that you hit the right button do you keep hittin it till it says or just once.

    1. Nichole

never mind…finally opened it…it was same combo i used before it just finally decided to work

  50. HELP PLEASE!!!

Yeah im at the part to unlock the code from the desk. How do you do this, ive already got the Code and used the stick to push it in the desk. My code is EGCA

    1. HELP PLEASE!!!

      nvm got it lol 😛

  51. HELP PLEASE!!!

how do you find the lemon and the razor?????

  52. Stuck

Ok I’m stuck on the stupid “tap to fill” game contained in the painting on the wall – specifically the last picture #7 that looks like connected chains. Can anyone help me with that? I don’t have 3 hours to spend randomly tapping away…
    Thanks!

    1. AppUnwrapper

Start from both ends and meet in the middle. You need to get all but the top three pieces yellow, so when you tap that big piece at the top, all three will change.

      1. Haleigh

The “tap to fill” chains thing isn’t working by starting from both sides and meeting in the middle…any suggestions?

  53. Ari Marie

HOW do you turn the clock on?!

    1. AppUnwrapper

There are several items you need to find for it. What items do you have so far that you haven’t used yet?

      1. Ari Marie

I found it Thanks :] but now im stuck in the second room D: i cant figure out how to do the 4-digit code.
        Greatly appreciated BTW xoxoxo <3

  54. Ari Marie

I’m getting sad. :'( This is so confusing. i don’t under stand the equations such as:
    3+10=A
    1-6=B
    5-8=C
    12+6=D
I know it has to do with time, and ive read over all the comments at least 5 times but can you please be a bit more specific? :]

    1. AppUnwrapper

You need to make each letter into a single-digit number. If the equation doesn’t make sense, see if you can change any of the numbers, like 12 = 0.

      1. Ari Marie

I’ve tried everything, I guess i’m not cut out for this stuff.

  55. Player3

On closed room 2, where is the moon coin?

  56. Player3

And on closed room 1…the clock should say 3 45

  57. LivvyClarky

I’m still stuck in opening the bottom draw. I put the stick in and I have the paper with the letters but I don’t know what to do next, can you help?

  58. rays

help, room 2 please, I found the 3 flags was about australia, america and china. But whatever I tried, the box didn’t open. Hate it, need help please.

  59. Haleigh

How do you beat closed room 1?!?!MAKE A WALKTHROUGH

  60. Momo

Hello! Can you please help me out here? I just don’t know how the drawer’s lock be opened mine says EGCA and I don’t know how it should be mind telling me? It would surely be a lot of thanks

  61. Momo
